So no. These aren't what Warpriest and Silverlight are designed for, at least lore-wise. They aren't holier than the other gear.

The issue I see from my viewpoint is that you are conflating prayer bonus with holiness. In this case as well, when I put a suggestion like this. I'm not doing it from a lorewise perspective but a game point perspective.

I don't know now. I mean, I guess for Silverlight lore-wise it was "blessed" so to speak from Saradomin followers? Thus some would consider it "holy" in the way? As well with Darklight even though it was corrupted. It's now something that is held in reverence.

Warpriest, well I see it as something that may have been used by the more warrior-like of those religious factions in battle. So, even if the armor itself is not blessed or holy. It's those who hold their belief in it that make it holy? I mean if you were a warrior heading into battle. Wouldn't you feel like your vestments have been blessed through prayer?

I just want those items to be like a +1 to prayer bonus. That's all I want, so players have something to use if they're into using prayer abilities. To be fair, I want it too.

I must thank you both @Dilbert2001 and @Draco Burnz, as now that has gotten in my head of suggesting on a new quest or mini-quest. Involving those three items we've been talking about. :D

There aren't event priests following Tuska and yet we still have Tuska Warpriest. It should tell us the name of a piece of item alone doesn't necessarily show its holiness and merit for prayer bonus.

True. Well, using the Tuska warpriest armor. Since that is originally is how my suggestion came about because I use that armor. I figure it is a name that the developers used for it since it came from the Tuska event. Admittedly, they could have instead named it "Godless Warpriest" armor. I figure it's just something that in terms of naming they needed something to convey what they want to call it. Simple and short vs making it needless long, like "Blessed Vestments of the Warrior" or something like that. :P

New quest suggestion or mini-quest, h/t Dilbert2001 & Draco Burnz - The concept of the quest involves learning about the origin of warpriest armor via archaeology. Retrieving the lost art in being to have them blessed from faction emissaries from learning about their ancient heroes that used warpriest armor in ancient battles.

Possible skills to be used:
Archaeology - for excavating from various quest locations and retrieving ancient items for usage in blessing warpriest armor
Prayer - faction emissary will require you to imbue warpriest armor with some of your faith in order for it to be successfully imbued with prayer bonus
Crafting - to craft those ancient items into materials needed by the faction emissary
Combat skills - as some of those ancient heroes will require you to best them in combat before rewarding you with the ability to imbue warpriest armor

It makes sense for such items, dedicated to gods, to have prayer bonuses. By that i mean even more than those you mentioned OP. However, the prayer bonus is somewhat of an ''old'' mechanic and since high end weapons/armor have a tiny bonus it would be hard to add bonuses to other, easier to get, items-even tho they are ''holy'' in some way. I think it would be best to first have an overall update of this prayer bonus mechanic and then, indeed, add prayer bonus to all ''holy''/god dedicated items.

Not to mention that DL is dyed with demon blood so it makes even less sense for it to get a "holy" boost.
