It wouldn't have a significant impact on combat. The fact that some geniuses were laughed at does not imply that all who are laughed at are geniuses. They laughed at Columbus, Fulton, and the Wright brothers. But they also laughed at Bozo the Clown.

I have always wondered what happened to the rest of my fingers I would like to see one combat and one noncombat ring slot or heck just two ring slots
Just make it so that the total bonus from rings cannot exceed the maximum bonus obtainable by the highest lvl ring
i.e. If you want the max bonus for rings and don't have the strongest ring available you would have to mix and match rings till you got at least close to it.
But the person with the max bonus ring would have a slot open that he/she could use for a support ring (explorer, charos, Ect.)

I like the idea of two rings at once, and like Minish Sage said, I would also like to be able to wear ring of wealth and explorer's ring. :)
edit: forgot to add not the same rings...and I would love a jewelry box.

i agree on at least wearing certain rings like 1 on each hand, like a regular ring (say seer's/ and then another ring on the other such as ring of life or ferocious ring) given you have the levels to make/enchant the rings of course.

It potentially could. Since the damage boost from the ferocious ring is limited to monsters inside Kuradal's dungeon only, it wouldn't be that overpowered. For all other slayer tasks, it's only useful for teleporting back to Kuradal. The fact that some geniuses were laughed at does not imply that all who are laughed at are geniuses.
