I think you should be able to wear 2 rings at once, one for each ring finger. Nice idea

okay ignoring the argument, does everyone know about the steel key ring thing you get as a member... (assuming you do)
well what about a neckalace that holds all your rings so when you need um you can use it. That would be pretty cool because as for the steel key ring it is very helpful, since it is such a pain to search a bank of about 400+ items and look for one particular key when all i have to do is type steel key ring and waahlahhh! my wish is granted. So Yeah STEEL RING NECKLACE is the way to go!

A jewellery box to hold all kinds of rings and necklaces wouldn't be a bad idea, but as you said, it's off topic.

Any issues of being overpowered can be dealt with by simple restrictions. Although, in the example you gave, I can't see that particular combination being overpowered. The fact that some geniuses were laughed at does not imply that all who are laughed at are geniuses. They laughed at Columbus, Fulton, and the Wright brothers. But they also laughed at Bozo the Clown.

Great Idea and I fully support. I think that 2 rings could be implemented, granted they aren't of the same type, but the fact that bracelets take up the ring spot makes no sense imo.
I think either creating a bracelet spot, or the additional ring spot would be an awesome addition allowing us to fully utilize the large variety of rings RS supplies. Of course... why stop there? Belts have been wanted for years and give tons of Crafting, Magic, or Smithing possibilities. Hopefully if Jagex thinks this idea is worthwhile then maybe they'd finally give the Ring of Stone a little much needed makeover.
But anyways, not to change the point of your thread, awesome idea, and I hope this gets more recognition.
P.S. The thought of having an Onyx bracelet, Ferocious ring, and an Onyx "belt" is making me drool at the possibilities. :-D Make it happen Jagex!!

I also think that 2 rings of the same kind shouldn't be allowed.
For each ring there should be a wear left option and a wear right.
The wear left option should be first option unless you already have a left ring but no right ring.
Twice the same ring shouldn't be allowed.
Then there should be a message saying:
Do you really need to wear another ring of that kind?
But two combat rings should be ok imo
onyx (i) + berserker (i) would be strongest combination.
Rings which are rated as the same
berserker (and other fremmeniks) and berserker (others) (i)
any kind of onyx (onyx ring, onyx ring (i), ring of stone)
same with dragonstone, diamond, sapphire, ruby and emerald.
same rings with different charges will still be the same ring (slayer ring 5, slayer ring 8)
I think that this wouldn't make it overpowered as onyx gives only +6 or +7ish dunno excactly and zerker gives +8 str. But you will risk alot when wearing both.
Also, most people will use ring of wealth in combination iwth others when fighting monsters. ROW + berserker or ferocious will be most common I guess.
EDIT: you should also finally be able to see the actually ring.
I hate it that this spot is invisible, you can't show of with berserker ring or anything else ^^.

So if you recommend only two fingers that can fit rings...
dosen't that make our hands claws?

jk, I think the variety of choices is GOOD. Jagex make lotsa choices - we choose what we like best best for whatever we are doing. I think it's good. Ihope they do the same with weapons armour etc. Variety is the...(you know the saying).

Maybe a good idea would be to allow 2 rings to be equipped. One for each hand, one for each ring-finger. Then make 2 kind of rings,

-'Bonus giving rings' ( like +4 STR, +ATT, +DEF )
- The rings that can teleport, tell you how many tasks you have left, give more information about monsters and stuff.
Allow the 'Bonus giving rings on one hand, and the other rings on the other, so you could never have double bonus :D .
