"I believe we should continue the current plots, as we passed a BoSS motion to actually do this type of thing. If we do not end up continuing this, I recommend a ratification to the motion in order to fix it."

We should continue the Magistrate plot, the problem is we had no organization to it at all. Maybe that's just my opinion, meh.

I'm tempted to write an appeal for Nation Creation being a separate game from Create Your Own Country (which it is, as is obvious to anyone who's ever actually played the two ), but considering the last time I did that my posts were hidden (along with like five whole pages of Forum Fight but who's counting), I'm not sure it'll help any =P

The TGE does its thing. I should really see what needs updating.

The officers stood in terse silence, each looking towards the bridge windows of his vessel, as if enough concentration could let them pierce the cloudy edges of a hyperwarp tunnel and see what lay beyond.

A chirping noise came from somewhere on the Inéluctable 's bridge, and the holographic image of Commander Kastner turned towards it, moving out of view of the holoprojector. "Sir," said a voice whose owner Ludovit couldn't see, "we're getting a reading. It's something big and slow, I can't discern much more than that."

"Very good, Warrant Officer."

Kastner returned to the holoprojector and faced the rear admiral, "Admiral Macy, sir, we've got something."

"I heard; captains, prepare for a realspace reversion, have your interdictors start their projectors."

Ludovit gestured towards his first officer, who stood just outside the frame, and saw him begin to bark orders down into the crewpits. He turned back to the projector, from which the commander has disappeared, leaving only the rear admiral and Captain Brown. Macy continued speaking, "We'll cut central comm communication and split into a three-prong organization. Follow the encounter plan as discussed."

The feed cut out, and Ludovit walked down to the bridge. The crew pits were a frenzy of activity once again, watched by Commander Baker's sharp gaze.

The Fifth Summer Olympic Games Bidding Process


The International Olympic Committee is beginning the bidding process for the Fifth Summer Olympic Games.

• Each nation may submit ONE bid.
• Bidding cities must be on Earth.
• The city can be fictional, but you should give it's approximate location
• Your bid must include the title
Summer Olympics Bid

• You MUST be able to post two events per day as of August 4th until the completion of the games.

Nations have one (1) week to submit their bid (ends July 21st), at which point all players can vote on the city that will hold the Olympics.

• Votes must be in yellow, with the title
Summer Olympics Vote

• You may NOT vote for yourself.
• In the event of a tie for first, another vote will be done between those nations.

The voting process will last one (1) week (ends July 28th), if there's a tie, players have four (4) days to participate in the second vote (ends Aug. 1st). If there's another tie, the BoSS must select a winning city by Aug. 5th.

These Olympic Games will begin on August 9th, and continue until all of the events are completed. If you have any further questions, please ask.

OOG: As far as I know, nothing has interfered with the Olympics before. I don't really see why not, as long as all the events occur. Depending what you would do, the BoSS can probably decide.

Hey, Dano here on an alt.

Sorry for the (very) long hiatus, got busy with my second semester of junior year blah blah blah i didn't really have any time to check up on anything related to CYOC.

When I finally got the time (and frankly some motivation to open up the RS website and possibly some frustration over still not being able to access my AP scores) to get back, I had discovered that my account had been hacked. So I am currently in the process of recovering my account.

Now that that is over...

How is everyone? Could I possibly get a summary of what I have missed over the last 6 months?

The USRS wake up from its stasis. No one is quite sure why everyone and everything in the country was suddenly put in a stasis, but most just shrug it off and continue on with their lives.

There's a plot there somewhere....maybe if I find time between summer and college apps.

Hate to be the one to tell you this, Dan, but the CYOC you knew is no more. Once Ninja hacked into the sun and took over the universe it all really went downhill. Every man, woman and child now lives inside a pineapple shaped pod hooked up to a power circuit from the back of their heads: where their bodies produce electricity for his millions of flying, sentient pineapple soldiers. A small resistance army has formed led by Fajner and Djinn as they attempt to rescue others from his fruitful endeavor. All that has been going on has actually been inside a simulation within the minds of the enslaved pineapple-battery people to keep them preoccupied. The spoon isn't real. Get out while you can, Dan. All hope is lost.

I actually like this idea. We should do it. Maybe in a spinoff thread. Although last time I tried this sort of thing, one of you brought a rocket launcher to a battle of the wits.

Also I miss Djinn. :(

EDIT: Oh also there's a galactic invasion of sorts. The BoSS is running it in theory. Which reminds me, we need to have an election again, or perhaps extend the terms.
