Don't you mean 'illegally imported ', seeing as Atlantis would be the country exporting the weaponry... Or are you deliberately choosing an unusual word choice that doesn't make a huge amount of sense?

I might add some more stuff... But not at the moment. I still have to flesh out what I'm thinking...

Okay, in context your wording makes much more sense. I wasn't sure if you were saying the same basic thing as 'illegally imported by Tanicia', just in a slightly more pedantic way... (Seeing as both statements are, in the simplest way, opposite sides of the same coin.)

Edit:

Wouldn't that be more of an Atlanti problem instead of a Tanician problem anyways?

All of the military equipment from other countries have been returned to them (what they do to the equipment is up to them). The Vorno equipment is excluded as it should of been given to Tanicia at the end of the war anyway.
Tanicia also requests all nations whose military equipment was found to see if they can trace how the weapons got into the Tanicia. These nations are:

•Atlantis
•Porschestan
•Arrentine
•Glorious Kingdom of the House
•Nera
•United States of the Rytom System
•The Republic of Reach

The fact these rebels have such advanced technology is worrying. If the militia leaders and their body guards were using these weapons rather than keeping them in storage there would of been many Tanician casualties.

Five prisoners tried to give up information to their interrogators but before they could say anything useful micro flash bangs attached to their optic nerve detonated killing them instantly. These devices seem to be designed to prevent the user leaking information if captured. All of the other prisoners have been found with these devices. Any form of tampering including EMPs, teleporting and brain scans result in the device detonating. It is unknown how the Militia can afford to acquire and install these devices into all their leadership.

The Reachian surplus is not hard to explain. Reachian weaponry designs older than 60 years, or more than 2 versions obsolete, are sold as surplus. Anyone who clears a background check with the proper permits can buy them. For a semi-automatic rifle, .50 cal(BMG) or larger; (As an example, using a very powerful & dangerous weapon) requires a 9-year clean record (Anything on said record will not necessarily block a permit, but more consideration will be required), citizenship, a 2 month waiting period on the permit, as well as a 1,500 RC fee. Not easy to obtain a permit for larger weapons. A lever-action rifle, (For comparison) 7.62x39(m) or smaller, requires; a 3-year clean record, citizenship, and a 1 month waiting period, with a 350 RC fee. Much easier, but still requiring effort.

Overall, the system is mildly bureaucratic, but it tries to keep guns out of the wrong hands. For the most part it succeeds, and where the system fails, police with military-grade hardware succeeds.

OOG: Yes, even more than a millennia into the future, lever-action weapons still are reasonably widespread on Reach.

OOG: Fly, do you want to get involved in the Magistrate plot? If you would, I can say the weapons were exported by the Magistrate spies in Atlantis to the rebels in your nation.

The Shell
Location: Classified

At AFB Montcalm, an evacuation order has been announced. A helicopter flies to the remnants of the Shell, landing on a small helipad. Two SIDD agents get out.

"What's the problem?" one asks.

"A crew working in the Shell's remnants detected an energy surge in the rubble, the signal matches those produced during the last reset," a scientist says.

"You think something's trying to come through?" the agent asks.

"Well, the Shell connected all of the Atlantis universes, it's possible it can connect to another as well," the scientist says.

The agents speaks into a radio, "I need as many Kidros as possible over AFB Montcalm, if anything enters, have it destroyed," the agent says. "Have everyone get beyond a ten mile radius from the Shell."

The Neran Department of Defense has launched an investigation into the origins of the stolen weapons. Tanicia will be kept updated.

Location: TIE/sl military transport shuttle, 300 degrees on the Outer Arm, Neran Periphery, Milky Way

Franklin activated the display in front of him and touched several controls, activating the shuttle's rear camera. The Yellowstone appeared on the screen. At least, what was left of it. A standard third-generation K-1 cruiser, the Yellowstone was a rounded cylinder, 120 metres long, 40 metres wide, and six decks high, with a rectangular command bridge perched on top and in the rear. The front half of the upper two and lower two decks housed hangar bays for the small complement of fighters, shuttles, and dropships. The rear twenty metres or so of each deck contained the gravitic engines and hyperdrive, with additional life support systems, repulsorlifts, power generators, fuel tanks, and shield generators scattered around the ship. What was left was given to the crew, nearly 200-strong.

Now, the ship looked like a dismembered corpse, or perhaps a puzzle that had been disassembled with a flamethrower. A section of the hull, stretching from the bow to just in front of the bridge, encompassing nearly all of deck six and the front of deck five, was simply gone, leaving exposed girders and shards of durasteel. In the rear, almost all of the hull around the engines and hyperdrive had been burned away. Bits of shrapnel and debris floated everywhere.

K-1 cruisers were near the bottom of the Neran navy's command chain, they were one of the smallest and weakest capital ships in its arsenal. But nothing could do this much damage to them in one shot, at least nothing mobile. With the size of that hyperwarp signature, whatever it was that shot at them shouldn't be mobile.

And now, that hostile behemoth was headed towards Nera. If it could sustain the type of firepower that it had hit the Yellowstone with, it could trade blows with a small group of Star Destroyers, and maybe win. Nera's space forces were spread out across dozens of sectors; if an attack on Nera occurred, would the home fleet be able to hold its ground long enough for reinforcements to arrive? The shuttle's long-range antenna had been destroyed, but the hyperdrive was functional. If they aimed towards Nera, they could overtake the enemy vessel and warn the fleet. A couple days, even a couple hours could be crucial. But if they did, they wouldn't be able to track the freighters, and the commander would be lost. Nera would have to take care of itself.

Jody's voice interrupted his reverie, "They've started forming a warp field. I'll try to hook into it."

"Won't the mass change alert them of our presence?"

"It would if we just piggybacked on them, but I'll use our own hyperdrive to increase the energy of the bubble. If the computer calculates it right, they shouldn't notice."

Jody pressed several buttons and then leaned back in her chair. The shuttle shuddered a little and centred itself against one of the pairs of indigo orbs in the sky. With a whine, the hyperdrive activated and the stars in the viewport elongated and turned, obscuring everything except the enemy ship.

"We seem to have plateaued at around warp A-3.4," declared Jody after several minutes. "We're turning minutely towards a nearby star system, about three and a half days away at this speed."

"Damn. Guess I should get comfortable. Is there even a bathroom in this thing?"

"There's a foldable one in the starboard panel, it spreads out over half the cabin. Cramped, but it does its job, and it even has a shower. There are supplies and medkits in the overhead storage."
