Debris Entanglement Method: Sometimes, it is necessary to restrain, rather than destroy. Therefore, the TGE will be investigating, researching, and developing (using our expertise in field and space-time manipulation) a weapon that can be used to shut down its targets all the way to the sub-atomic level, advancing on pre-existing Alar-based technology and the Null Pods to render the target frozen in space-time.

Heaven Thunder Hammer: The TGE has noticed it currently has a lack of deity-level kinetic kill weapons.

This is unacceptable.

Therefore, we will be researching, investigating, and optimizing our current railguns and other projectile weapons to maximize their speeds, impact force, energy released on impact and generally anything involved in increasing their destructive potential.

Furthermore, we will also be investigating such things at FTL-capable railguns, and even the fabled Fist of Retributive Judgement, a theoretical kinetic-kill weapon whose projectiles are fired with sufficient speed and violence that they tear a hole in space-time in the wake of their passage, ripping apart targets with a single shot.

Maw of Chaos: In all chaos, there is calculation.

Ricepaper World Understanding: With comprehension of the fact that the universe is inherently breakable comes the power to bring that vision to life, with hands that tear through space and time like ricepaper screens.

Have ALL the ships with ALL the guns! Kitted out with the latest in quantum magi***kery, of course.

Obviously your railguns are an influence, though I'd argue it's kinda impossible (as you imply) to patent the idea of "making stuff go fast".

That said, I somewhat intend to head straight past basic FTL kinetic weaponry and skip to the Fist of Retributive Judgement, though naturally as a result of the project we'd have access to said solely-FTL kinetic weaponry in case we didn't want to tip the full extent of our overkill.

(The Fist of Retributive Judgement is more an non-unique application of a few things than an actually innate tech - you take a railgun shell, 'accelerate' it to FTL, but have the barrel it's firing through have a portal at either end, and then keep 'accelerating' it faster and faster and faster each time it passes through the barrel until you're firing something that, well, goes really*******fast , and then you close the portals. I may enhance the idea further later on if I come up with something, but that's the current gist of it).

The new capitol of Ytrek has been permenantly established, although size is minimal and only able to house up to 5,000 people-- plus the embassies, 7,500-- but embassies will not be used as housing, of course. More construction help will be sent as houses continue each month, to match the population growth vs building growth. Its estimated that in 5 years, there will be 10,000 people worth of homes. In 10, 17,000. In 25 years, its estimated to house 40,000 people. In 50, 100,000.

However, that is easily prone to change by how fast buildings actually become built.

The colonists have worked together in writing and sent a sincere, formal letter of apology towards Atlantis about having offended them in any way. We don't mean to disrespect your territory or your culture.

Sadly, the first death on earth has occurred. One unfortunate soul-- Alfrew-- didn't get indoors for the nighttime, and the night was especially cold, resulting in a sad and premature end to life. A grave was made for his frost-bitten seaside body in what will be the future graveyard nearing the base of the peninsula.

The council has agreed that after project ENEP, at least 100 more years of space-travel technology research will be put into action to optimize and be able to mass produce spacecrafts.

Little word has been released on the matter, however it has been ensured that it's goal is to work together with earth nations, should they wish, to create a standard model of generally optimized space travel crafts. The end result is unknown, all that was decided on was 100 years of this effort. This will likely come in sub-research phases.

The Atlantis government has responded to the contact from the colonists, we accept the apology for the breach in our territory. When aliens visit Earth, we feel the need to defend myself, due to health risks, planned wars, etc, especially with the disease directly after, we feared the danger you may pose. We'd like to apologize for that.

The Pineapple Papacy has not responded, and the crusade continues.

Maybe you should collaborate with us on Heaven Thunder Hammer, then - we'd get your expertise in making projectiles go really, really fast, as well as the projectile systems you have already (well, possibly the schematics for some anyway so we could get working on stuff faster, I dunno, up to you), and in return you'd get the ability to, amongst other things, turn a smaller barrel into an equivalent of the RSV Phoenix's main gun (for a lower power cost).

Plus, of course, you could apply the same technology to said main gun.

I'll let you imagine the results of that .

(While the system would mean the guns would take longer before they were ready to fire, it's possible to just not activate it and fire normally, if you really need to. Beyond that, you're already firing projectiles at beyond-FTL speeds - it doesn't really matter if it takes a little longer to actually fire the shot since it's not like you're actually going to miss the target, at least not because it got dodged or evaded by anything that relies on the mechanics of aiming (you know what I mean))
