Listening Post 5, Outer Arrentine System
Just as the station seemed lost during the conflict, four Venator Star Destroyers exit hyperspace near the outpost. Fleet Commander Vars, overseeing the Outpost Defense Fleet stands in bridge, looking past the glass towards the other three cruisers as they begin there assault on the unknown ships attacking the outpost.
"Raise the shields to full, and prepare all batteries to fire. Also, prepare an evacuation squad to get our troops from the station." Vars says as he motions his command crew to join him at the tactical displays.
Just as Vars is about to go over the battle plan, a flare of lights appears all over the tactical displays. Much of the command crew is center around a circle holographic projector table that has the battle map laid out with the cruisers and outposts in various colors.
An officer yells out, "Sir, we've detected more incoming enemies exiting hyperspace. They'll outnumber us 10 to 1."
"Sir, I have a urgent message from Fleet Command."
Vars looks at the battle map as it shows more ships coming into the battle. Noticing that there appears to be no flagship, he calmly walks over to the display where te communications officer begins the channel.
"Commander Vars, I hope you have the situation under control. You know how important this outpost is." Sithlord Man II says with a cloaked figure behind him.
"Sir, we are outnumbered, but our fighters have broken through and gained the upper hand. If all goes well, we should be able to deal with this insurrection quickly." Vars replies.
"Good, Citizens on Arrentine Major have already noticed a military build up of the space forces. Citizens are beginning to wonder whats happening. I exp--" The message gets cut.
Suddenly, the ship rattles violently throwing members of the crew to their feet. The ships alarms then go off. Vars looks out the window and see two Venators destroyed instantly from a massive energy blast from an enemy ship.
