When I was a noob, I went down into the Draynor sewers. The zombies there still attacked me, so I was trying to get out. I didn't know this at the time, but I had my camera turned so that it was at the lowest angle, showing only the black behind the walls. I thought this was what all dungeons were like. I clicked furiously at the minimap hoping to somehow climb the ladder if I clicked enough times. I died, but I learned how to use the camera.

When I was a newb I....
1) Spent over 1 hour learning everything on tutorial island
2) Collected leather boots from the wizard tower and sold to the general store for money
3) Used different weapon types to train different stats (att, str, def)
4) Thought strength was useless cause it was "members only items"
5) Got scammed out of my gems
6) Thought a bronze 2H was rare
7) Thought 1K was rich
8) Got lost 24/7
9) Didn't know about Holiday events for a long time
10) Was excited when I reached level 10 attack
11) Spent 5 hours trying to find the place where a NPC could cut my emerald (hence the later scam)

Almost forgot my favorite, I thought my total level was my combat level! So when I had 130 total level, I thought my number shown next to my name was 130 and everyone else was newbs. It wasn't until my sister and I got on at the same time and saw each other that we figured it out.
Pretty sad, huh ;)

When I was a noob I thought the Grand Exchange was a place called "Quick Chat" because I joined a quick chat world and didn't know where lumbridge was and thought I would have to quit the game.
True story.
I also got lost on tutorial island...
And I also trained atk to lv 9 and didnt know you could switch styles.
Didn't get my first full rune set till lv 55 and thought this was amazing. It was with a 2h also.
I also got killed by a dark wizard at lv 18..
I also thought falador was in between draynor and lumbridge.
I also died 4 times trying to get the "awesome cape" from the highwayman and finally killed him, i was like "yayyy"
I also thought runescape was all members so i wouldnt start playing until i actually read the terms and conditions.
I told everyone that world 55 and 57 were the best worlds ever, and that if u didnt go there u were a noob (most of the noobs went there after tutorial island).

When I was a noob I lost my bronze pickaxe after dying and I didn't know how to get a new one. so I spent half an hour in Lumbridge asking people if I could buy one. a person came up to me with one and asked for 1k in exchange for it. So I reluctantly bought it only to find out I'd bought a bronze htachet. :P That's how I spent my first 1k.
