Thou creature of the great,
Be a bold power to Greece.
The quick cunning of eight,
And thy skin unlike fleece.
Beast of unmeasurable pride,
Thou great Chimera shall be.
What a spectacular stride,
Just bring distance and see.
Tame is he not,
For serpent rules thy tail.
Do fail to be caught,
This be no sheltered jail.
Claws sharp and cruel,
Escape, oh so cute.
You are but a tool,
On the foot to remain thy boot.
Complaints need not be made,
For lucky is your air.
Your debts will be paid,
Refuse, if you dare.
Fire be your wish granted,
For it is heat that escapes his breath.
He is mystical, oh so enchanted,
And so honorable be your death.
