A solid 4.4/10. I really enjoyed the introduction, but the rest of the song sounded very generic and not particularly original. I didn't find much of it to stand out at all.
@Next poster: I hope the OP is OK with me offering two songs, and telling you to choose the one that you are more intrigued by, solely from reading their titles. They're both by the same man.
Dax Johnson -- The Random and The Purpose
Dax Johnson -- Merciful Dwelling
Enjoy, and please be sure to delineate which of the two you chose.

I've definitely been a metalhead in the past (I don't listen to too much metal anymore), and all the music there appealed to my inner metalhead of the past, but the singing kills it for me. Metal got me through some of my most difficult periods, but I admit I never liked songs with so much growling. The metal I always listened to was Symphonic Power Metal -- Like Nightwish, Amberian Dawn, etc.
IDK man, I'd say just a notch above a 5/10.
Seeing as the last poster picked Merciful Dwelling, let's now drop The Random and the Purpose for the next poster!
