It's not ascii, ascii is only hex codes 0x00 through to 0x8F. (Although you can get extended sets which go up to 0xFF)
Your using characters 0x90 upwards, this is known as u*f-8/unicode, and masses different to ascii. (For a start, ascii is only 1bit, whereas u*f-8 includes 1bit,2bit,3bit,4bit,5bit,6bit,7bit and 8bit.
A more accurate description would be unicode art, but it is *not* ascii.
