Yeah I've heard profanity is still against the rules, probably because there's no toggle for the censor.

then why totally remove the censor?? The censor used to be not that bad in terms of starring out artwork, but then they beefed it up a while back.

I guess they had to remove the censor to get images to work, but there's the added bonus that every other word is no longer censored. Imo hiding a post with an offensive word is a lot better than censoring all sorts of offensive and non-offensive words.
