In history, there have been a lot of different secret organizations, ranging from science, to art and religion: while some keep their secrecy well hidden, others have gained some general recognition, whether this phenomenon is part of the organization's goals or not.

The
Dragon Rouge
is a swedish esoteric society, created by Thomas Karlsson in 1989. Its principal goal is the development of proactive and critical thinking individuals through the study of magic ("the art of will" as defined by this society), arts (specially music) and literature, in accordance with the Left-Hand Path precepts.

Thomas Karlsson has been the lyricist, since 1996, for the symphonic metal band Therion. Many of this band's albums have been composed around the subjects that Dragon Rouge members study, ranging from sumerian/hebrew/greek/scandinavian mythology, to gothic and "long forgotten" literature.

Control the world? Explore its hidden beauty? Develop humankind's potential? Give an aesthetic reason to some individuals with perhaps too much free time to spare?

King Lathas is a reincarnation of Elvarg the Cat, seeking to gain approval of Guthix pretending to be Guthix.

This should be pretty obvious. Let me explain just incase it slipped past you.

You see, it all started when Gertude had lost her favorite cat, Elva, to Zemouregal in a bet over who would survive the God Wars (AKA the Great Fremmenik Prank War). Elvarg grew fangs and tough hide in defiance to Zemouregal. He panicked and locked Elvarg up in on his getaway island where she trained her firemaking.

Until some hotshot who couldn’t even wear full rune came in and killed her.

Gertrude, furious by the cruel treatment of her daughter, paid Death 200,000 death runes to bring Elvarg back from the dead. And you know how Ardougne officials have stated their charity goes to the Eastern Lands? Crandor Island is technically east, and a land. Switch the letters around in "Ardougne", you get Dragon EU (Elvarg Undead). Yeah. I think it’s pretty obvious by now that Elvarg is King Lathas. Also, Guthix is Elvarg's father because he also is green. Guthix is actually a dragonkin pulling a 'wizard of oz' on Gielinor, faking his death, and scheming these events to spike the price in Anti-fire shields, and rune platebodies.

King Lathas has been scamming us this whole time for his own personal xp gain.
