Tie them up
Place them in a very un-ergonomical chair
Force them to watch a wall with paint drying
Techno yodeling is blaring in the background
And there's a whimpering puppy just out of arms reach

Is that a sufficient enough torture scenario? you know ... completely hypothetically speaking ... ofc

Depends, does the person fine paint drying fun? cause if so, then you're going to need a better torture scenario. Might I suggest instead of paint, some old children cartoons, like teletubbies.
