What's interesting is that a lot of people think "spicy food" triggers that which you have,
but
when looking at the list, it is clear that there are other 'grouped' triggers.
I love dairy
having spent a childhood with full-fat diary products from my cousins' dairy farm lol

I wonder if it's like food allergies where you can stop X and then later gradually re-introduce it, itty bitty by itty bitty, and then it's okay.
like a chica cherry cola

Indeed. I don't think it's everything on the list. It's more a manner of experimenting a little, so see what affects me more and what doesn't. I mean, I like my full-fat dairy too, and I'm finding it's having no impact. :P

'Spicy Food' doesn't really do it to me, it's more what's *in* it that sets me off - garlic and onions mainly. That said, it could be a combination of that and other things, so I'll still avoid it for now. I'm probably subconsciously nervous for the whole 'move away to go back to uni' situation too, which doesn't help!

But yeah, I'll let the pills run their course, then gradually re-introduce things. But cutting out some things (like alcohol) is no bad thing.

Thanks anyway guys (and gals :P ), keep you posted.

I have had that Trewavas, and the doctor gave me a huge bottle of something to take and I think tablets too. This was several years ago and it was very painful. I actually forgot about it until you mentioned it, so it does go away.

All the best.

All the food, I don't know if you need to give it up, but treat those foods like treats, just sometimes foods.

I have an arm, neck and shoulder problem going on at the moment and I just don't understand it. It's been happening around a month, every time I move my arm I get pains in my neck, shoulder and arm. I can move my neck fine no pain, it's just in my arm. And it's pretty much constant. The pain does go through, the first time the pain went and I was so happy, and thought YAY it's fixed, but a few hours later back just as severe as it is. So periodically the pain just disappears, but only for a few hours. I've never hurt my arm, strained my arm, or anything. Throughout the night it hurts just as much as during the day, possibly even worse during night time. Really bazaar - off to doctors tomorrow, as it's just not clearing on it's own.

Thanks for the kind words and advice.

Hope you get yourself fixed up too. Maybe you've trapped a nerve or something?

All the best.
