WoW is even more dead than rs lol, I wouldn’t bother with it when you’re senile. They have a token which is pretty much the bond equivalent. You can’t buy plane or Blizzcon tickets like RuneFest does tho. The only upside of playing it however is Blizzard customer support is fantastic. Overwatch is their new child and main focus now, so play that in your retirement home :P

Nostalgia is dangerous. It’s pretty much all I seek these days

i hardly get any nostalgia from playing osrs. thats not what i play osrs for anyway. its to avoid all the stuff 0815 just complained about lol

overwatch is a 3rd person shooter right? i have a couple hundred days of playtime on halo, and it is really the only shooter i like Old School

it's a first person shooter, I much prefer third person, but it definitely fits with the theme & your weapons feel very unique to suit the hero you're playing. there's only actually a few different modes and not a huge amount of maps, but your team composition is what makes each game so distinct refreshing. there's essentially 3 classes: dps, tank & support (healer), and multiple heroes with unique abilities in each category. every character has their origin explained, some are even related, idk it's just such a diverse and vibrant universe

ever since the beta I have become obsessed with it. would probably describe it as a modern, stylized arcade shooter /shrug the games aren't very long and it's quick paced. there's just something so special about it. even if you don't play it, i'd definitely recommend checking out the animated shorts they make. blizzard is so reknown for their beautiful cinematics

ive been recommended overwtch multiple times now. its just that im the kind of person that can really only play one game at a time, and right now thats osrs Old School

yeah I get that. I take breaks from it for months at a time, butt a quick game every now and then can be quite nice to mix things up
