Nice job Freud! I reckon you've nailed the text types. One thing I would note is that waves have much more flow when using the symbol '¸' and maybe the first wave could do with a '„' or ',' just to help the waves connect. Overall good job, I'm moving you on
.
For your next assignment I'd like you to mirror this signature to make sure it is symmetrical, use the symbols on the right to fill in space on the left of the text.
Great! You've understood alt spaces clearly since the signature is centered and symmetrical. One thing I'd like to help you work on is your transitions, something that you should try to get perfect early as it can lead to future assignments being perfect
.
*›., doesn't flow too well into the line above, maybe use a lighter symbol like ' or ’ . Nice transition on the `¤,¸¸,¤ though, although the ¤ makes the wave look quite blocky, maybe replace it with · . Nice job, though - and yes the censor does ruin everything
.
For your next assignment I'd like you to create a 3 lined signature, really focusing on transitions and flow - make the transitions close enough so they could almost connect.
There are lots of symbols you can use to transition, the main ones used are:
” “ " ’ ‘ ' ˆ ˜ ´ ` ¨
Nice job on this one, nothing out of place and the transitions are perfect, one thing I would like to suggest is using * when the transitions are flowing that direction, ¸` is a less flowing transition in comparison to ¸´ , another thing is that the bottom waves aren't symmetrical ' .¸¸,. ' - you've missed a comma on the left side (I'm guessing you wanted the signature to be symmetrical. Very good though, alt spaces seem to be perfected
.
For your next assignment I'd like you to create a 3-lined advanced shaded signature with your choice of text. Take a look at the guide and remember those transitions!
Awesome! For quite a hard assignment you did well. Onlyminor things I'd like to point out and I'd like you to learn from when you start making more advanced signatures, it's good to learn stuff early
. Firstly this wave isn't exactly mirrored correctly: .,¸„.·¨ ´ although it was almost right, the ´ was just meant to be on the other side
. And finally when you mirror apostrophes they need to face the opposite way; if it is ´ on one side of the signature, it is ` on the other side. You're catching on fast though, keep going!
I'm going to move you up to the second year, for your assignment I'd like you to make a before and after - transform a boring signature into a tweaked one - read the tweaking guide!
