^ I find that ¨ usually doesn't work so well in transitions. It's quite a wide symbol and lower than other more commonly used transition symbols, so I find it doesn't work as well. Of course, that is just my opinion, though. This might work better:

^ This seems to come down a little abruptly, straight, then back up again. Unless this was the intention, you may want to use some commas to smooth it out a little. Also, as I mentioned before, in my opinion ¨ often doesn't work as well in transitions. Pehaps this might work a little smoother:
