*Just as Very Mad Guy gets comfortable in his crater he suddenly finds himself mysteriously healed. He then looks to see the broach that Xox gave him after their encounter is reacting. It transforms into a tiny robot.*

Robot: Well now that you've just saved the entire galaxy. It is time for that little battle.

VMG: Battle? Who or what are you?

Robot: Why I'm a challenge bot the newest and fastest way to issue a duel. You have a challenge from... let me see... *ox the butcher of Lakor. He seems to have organised a sport for you to battle him in the middle of the realm of lost souls.

*determined to avenge my people, i step through the door and "zombie invasion" from the game starts to play. all kinds of undead try to kill me but i effortlessly slaughter them all while walking in a straight line at the same place. as death treads the realm, my kinsmen are able to assume a corporeal form and hundreds of forgotten warriors, rangers and mages including the bosses stand behind me while we all fight off undead. i see an abandoned part of the realm perfectly suited for a duel as its roomy, yet hazardous. the area consists of a large circle with a flat surface. stalagmites and stalactites decorate the ceiling and the floor beneath. i close off the area, isolating it from the rest of the realm and making the entire place pitch black. i compensate for this by lighting up several torches that light up the arena, much to the dismay of the night-gazer. i then start to speak, with a cold and determined voice. i get slightly nervous, but cover it up with anger*

Xox: So I see you've accepted my invitation!

*Very Mad Guy turns to see *ox standing atop a stalagmite. Deadpool seemingly appears out of nowhere right next to Very Mad Guy.*

Deadpool: Ooo! Ooo! Superhero landing! Superhero landing!

*Xox jumps off the stalagmite and lands on punching the ground causing the entire arena to shake.*

Deadpool: Ahh superhero landings. So epic. But I hear they are hard on the knees.

VMG: What are you doing here? This is a private duel.

Deadpool: Good question. Well I best get going. By the way the other Very Mad Guy really needs to get membership and retake his gorgonite photo. Well I'm off to kill some bad guys or... good guys depends who's paying.

*Deadpool disappears as suddenly as he appeared. Leaving Very Mad Guy slightly confused.*

Xox: Now that is over. Time for battle. I can smell your fear!

*Xox and Very Mad Guy draw their weapons. Xox uses his double blades to attack Very Mad Guy from the side who despite blocking the strike is sent flying into one of the cavern walls.*

*Outside the battle a bunch of screens appear around Gilenor and various other planets with sentient life.*

deadpool? wow, that person is going to annihilate the fourth wall. he has a point about the picture thing though

*after being sent into the wall i made a big enough hole to stay there with sheer impact alone*

"what was that voice? is this duel made public?"

*i leap out of the wall and a clash begins. "kal'ger the warmonger" begins playing and i prematurely end the clash in order to spin in the opposite direction and strike near xox waist and end with a slash similar to the animation from the game itself*

The mage watches in anticipation as the final battle between Mad Guy and Zelerian ensues.

"He always seems to finish it off doesn't he?"
he muses to himself, as Mad Guy finally defeats his opponent.

Finally the battle is over, for now. He is teleported with the rest to the spaceship, before they travel back.
"Oh, there he goes."
he says nonchalantly, pointing out what looks like a meteor heading towards Gielenor.

"Well, that could have gone a lot worse. Thanks for-"
he begins saying, but before he can finish Liz and Psy have already vanished.

"...I'm going home"
he says, heading back to Silvarbor.

A few days later (I think), he is taking a stroll through town when suddenly a huge screen appears in the square.

"Hmmm? Don't see this often."


"And here's the moment we've been waiting for..." an electronic sounding voice begins.

"What the - Oh you have got to be-"
but his voice is drowned out by the cheering and yelling of the crowd as the battle begins.

(Did I hear a howl earlier? Oh dear, I hope they remembered to take their wolfsbane. It is wolfsbane, right? the potion they have to take? I forgot.)

(Lieutenant Zel as a civilian is among the crowd observing the Duel that is being broadcasted on the Giant Screens)

Lieutenant Zel: Well you don't see this everyday, and I am assuming the One from Daemonheim is the Knight I was looking for.

(lieutenant Zel Telepathically communes with general Zen)

Lieutenant Zel: General Zen I have located the knight we are looking for but he has gotten himself wound up in a fight

General Zen: a fight with who, can you make out the other fighter? any names?

Lieutenant Zel: The other tough looking guy based on what this bot is telling us is Xox the butcher of Lakor and general of the legion of destruction he seems familiar but i'm sure I do not know him

General Zen: Alright Zel this information is crucial but your priority is still The knight and if he falls bring him back with you we can use him. and this Xox fellow keep giving me anything about him that you may learn there is more to him then what we can see, im sure of it.


(Zel focuses his attention to the Screen paying close attention to both fighters)

Lieutenant Zel: it's not everyday I get to observe and enjoy a duel such as this.

*As Very Mad Guy performs his spin Xox uses his momentum to strike him across his back. Xox quickly blocks the follow up slash.*

Xox: No one will interrupt this duel. But the company that provided these bots insisted this duel be broadcast.

*Xox quickly kicks Very Mad Guy back and throws his sword to knock a stalactite down from the ceiling which misses him initially but the debris from the crash is enough to knock him around some more. Xox then uses this opportunity to strike Very Mad Guy's side whilst he attempts to regain his balance.* The statement below is false.

*xox appears to strike as i get up. i block it with my sword then spring myself up in the air using my legs, hitting xox with a surprise uppercut. as he is launched in the air from the punch, i jump after him, grab his throat with my free hand then force him on the ground. i push with my hand then stab him in the chest with my sword, intending to cut him open*
