*Wonders if I should continue the final duel of the last thread and in doing so making the last duel the first duel in a weird paradox. I also summon a large number of mutated slugs to consume the slug bait and when they do so they explode in a puff of glitter.*

EDIT: *Blue appears and slaps Nop Patar for bumping a sticky and wasting post space.*

"Ooh, a random effect box!"

I run into the middle of the arena, where a large treasure chest has just appeared. The dark wooden container is edged with gold, which also makes up the question mark emblazoned on the lid.

I open the box, causing a distorted light to spill out. Reaching in, I retrieve what appears to be a small white envelope. As quickly as it appeared, the box vanishes.

I open the letter finding it to be a picture of what appears to be a fishbowl.

"Wha...?" Is all I can manage before the walls of the arena suddenly and inexplicably turn to glass. The background behind it is blurry but it seems to be in some kind of room. The ground is replaced by thick gravel, with giant fake pond-weeds made of plastic placed here and there. There's one area that's particularly concentrated, more like a forest.

Suddenly, water begins cascading down the sides. Soon enough we all find ourselves submerged in increasingly deep water, however it seems some odd enchantment has been placed on it that allows us to breathe, also the pressure doesn't seem to be having much effect.

A giant shipwreck has appeared at one end of the arena. It is most likely a plaster model, given how crudely painted it is. At the other end, a giant skull has appeared with treasure spilling out, also probably a plaster model.

To top it all off, a giant plastic bag floating at the top of the tank is cut open, releasing a myriad of dolphin sized goldfish, koi the size of small whales, minnows as big as sheep, and a catfish the size of a cow (which proceeds to begin sucking around the glass walls)

I observe the chaos unfolding around me, suddenly realizing that most of my magical attacks are now useless.

"Well...that's just great."

OK, first of all, sardines live in saltwater; this tank is fresh water, as can be seen by the fact that all of its inhabitants are freshwater dwelling fish.

Secondly, even if there were to be any sardines, they would be, as already mentioned, giant sardines. I'm talking shark/dolphin sized.

Anyway, pedantic rambling aside...

I want to use lightning magic, but that would mean harming all of the fish. So instead I swim up to a giant koi.

It's orange and red, mostly, with blotches of yellow and white on its underside shaped sort of like flames. it also has black flame-like blotches tipping all of its fins including the tail. between the black tips and orange is oddly, a line of emerald green. it has unusually long barbels for a koi, spanning half the length of its body, with the same colors as its fins.

"Wait just a sec," I say, before swimming up to near the surface.

Some pellets have appeared, each being about the size of a barrel, floating on the reflective surface. I grab one and swim back down, tossing it to the fish. It swallows the grub happily, and I direct it to where the rest of the food is.

After a while, Mad Guy can see the giant orca-sized koi coming back down, the only difference being that I'm sitting on top of it.
