I was just a tad conflicted since I'm not using this account in game anymore and am now focusing on the new account. But then again we are far past the days when people would message you in game about logos.

By the way, the other day I tried checking the Hiscores of some old artists on my friends list, but save for maybe two or three, nothing showed up. Does anyone know why that is? Did their accounts get deleted eventually due to inactivity? I was hoping on seeing some with Divination levels to indicate whether or not they still play in between, but I suppose I can't check that now.

EDIT: Just found out I could get the 10 year cape on this account. Daaamn I forgot how young I was when I started playing.

It's likely due to name changes. Most older artists have changed their name at some point. Try looking through your friend list and checking any names you don't recognize. If you're looking for anyone in particular, I might know their current name as I've been trying to keep track of all the changes.

Also I believe there have been two sweeps for inactivity in the past couple years, so if you see something like #4972hjkd37fsju07 on your friend list then that might be the case.

Yeah, my friends list is full of random incoherent numbers and letters. I think they've been removed. :/ My friends list does show some name changes, but to the extent that it doesn't give the former name anymore. For example, SwimmerSully was Brendans*lvn, but neither shows up on Hiscores. Plus I also have Toz on my list, a super old artist who quit even during the golden days and his name hasn't been recplaced with [#3nonsense&32#*. So it's a bit inconsistent. :/

I just looked at Notl3y's old gallery and it made me quite sad to think that there is so little left of what we know of earlier artists. Our community had such history and involvement, it's sad to know that it's disappearing.

If I could go back so many years to when everyone was more active, I definitely would have made a greater effort to keep in touch with the other artists. Those were really good times.

yea it's kinda sad. A couple of my best friends on here just disappeared without warning and now I have no way of contacting them

Looking through the old galleries and then clicking on the profiles of people is a good way to figure out the new display names of older artists though!

You're right! I should make a goal to reach 20k by a certain time. That way I'll feel inclined to return and post.

I've been at 13k since 2013. Blows my mind that I posted over 10,000 times in 2010 alone.

Just shows how ridiculously active the forums used to be.
