Chapter III
Tragic War and Two New Friends
An explosion rocked the city of Falador. The walls of the city were lined up with White Knights, shining in their armor under the twilight sun. They all stared in awe at an army of dead soldiers walking towards them with no expression in their blank eyes that seemed to stare into their very soul. The army of un-dead warriors marched towards the city, creating a loud sound every step they take. The magicians continued shooting giant fireballs towards the city from afar, creating dazzling lights and huge explosions.
Riku fell onto the floor and hit his head. Raydense helped him up quickly. "Mother what's happening?!"
"There's no time to explain Riku, get up in the attic and hide under the boxes with Zotiac, you'll be safe don't worry. I'll be there in a few minutes." Raydense pushed Riku up a ladder where Zotiac was already waiting.
"What do you think is happening...?" Zotiac stared blankly at Riku.
"I think someone is trying to attack Falador, but we're safe, the White Knights are pretty strong." Riku stated that fact with complete security. "And besides, father is fighting the bad guys right as we speak."
Out in the streets below armored men ran back and forth. "The southern wall has been breached!" Confusion had struck the army and they were all in a huge frenzy. Fighting could be heard from where Riku and Zotiac lay in the house. They noticed smoke coming up from the southern part of the city. Houses were burning, people were running, Falador was falling.
Another body dropped in front of Hyro. "Twenty-seven." He counted to himself, his eyes glowing red, the same color the moon reflected into the night. He punched another knight that charged at him in the face and he thrust his sword into the knight's face, sending him in a gory mass to the floor. Hyro licked his upper-lip, tasting a bit of blood. He looked up into the dark sky and began laughing, a laughter that engulfed him, the White Knights around him fled.
