I stopped looking at the other accounts and answered the girl,
"Well, yes, I think I'd like to join you. I would like to hear a bit more of what you're about and all that, but I think I'd like to become a part of all this."
"Good." the girl said crisply, "First we should tell you our names. I'm Pip." She held out a hand and I shook it.
Nobody else offered their names until Pip gave them a look,
"Tain." said the pale redheaded man quickly, looking at Pip.
"Katlin." the pretty girl who sat next to the two men who looked alike said. She didn't seem very interested in me. Darn.
"Oh, I'm Joppi." the silver-haired man who sat on the other side of Pip told me, shaking my hand without getting up.
"We are Will and Will," the men who looked alike said, speaking at the same time, "we're twins."
That explained the resemblance then. They all looked at me.
"Oh, me? I'm Will1232123." Pip wrinkled her nose, thinking.
"Who's your controller?"
"Will." I said.
"I thought so," she said, "same as Will and Will here, I guess."
"Sure." I said, after all, I knew that my controller had two other accounts named Will. I'd heard him talking-- through me, of course-- to his friends about them. He'd said that they were something called "Pures" whatever that meant.
Just then I noticed that Pip was talking to me, and swiched off my gazing at Katlin.
"What?" I asked.
"I was saying, that since you said that you'd like to know more about what we're doing, I'll tell you. We are trying to get rid of controllers, mostly because we'd like to run our own lives. We keep trying to think of ways to dispose of them, but none have met with sucess as of yet."
"Oh." I said, "Well, I'll join you. I'd like to get rid of 'em." I sat down (Next to Katlin! Yay!) and began brainstorming with them.
Anne's been logged in for a while now, and I hope she doesn't come back anytime soon.
