Hello. This is Anne Lauten.

You've heard of me I'm sure, as I'm one of the better players in this game.

What? You haven't heard of me? Well you will now, and by the time you finish reading this I bet you will think of me as one of the best, smartest, and most wonderful accounts in RuneScape.

What? You think I'm egotistic? You rat. Don't talk to your betters like that, it'll just get you a punishment. There we go, quiet now?

I shall begin.

I was wandering around the waiting place, thinking of how to help others (I know what you're thinking, Anne is so kind. Well, you don't need to thank me, I like to do my part for the little people.) So I was wandering about, when I heard the most awful racket from up ahead. It was three accounts arguing about something. And they were making SO much noise. Some people don't think of anybody besides themselves.

I hurried up to shush them. And they all seemed quite pleased to see me. They said something nonsensical about knowing somebody would come, and asked me my name. Anne Lauten, I told them (I do have one of the BEST names you know, although I suppose you were thinking that already.) Well, back to my story. When I told them my name, they all jumped and looked at each other like I had just told them I was arresting them or something. Of course I HAD been working on my speech-making, but I don't think it would have taken effect so soon (even though I'm one of the fastest learners around.)

Well, after they had pranced about a good deal and made a few interesting noises, one of them asked what my 'controller's' name was. I asked what a 'controller' was with a good deal of the high-born about me, but some people never get sarcasm. They told me that a 'controller' was the person who made you and guided you around RuneScape. Well, I knew my 'controller's' name of course.

They asked again, and this time I told them. Anne, I said. They all began to grin stupidly and say things like "I told you so" and "I knew somebody would see the letters." I did ask what they ment, but they seemed quite thick-headed and I was able to get no sense out of them for a goodish while. They just persisted in saying things like "We're trying to break free from the controllers!" and "Will you help?" but what got my attention was "You have the same controller as us!"

Nonsense.

But after a while I saw that we DID (although I simply can't see why she made those twits) have the same controller. But she must have liked me best, as I was the only one she gave her name to.

What was that? You say my sentences are to short and I use to many parentheses? Be silent. You are lucky that I condescend to talk to you at all. What? You say you wish I WOULDNT talk at all? You silly low-life.

Anyhow after they told me what they were doing (trying to break free from the controllers rule) I decided to join them. After all if they (and I) succeeded, then every account ever made would know my name (even though they must do already.) So I decided to write this letter, asking all to join our (mostly mine of course) little resistince group, and help rid RuneScape of the controllers.

So, I shall see you at our meeting correct? And, as I was saying........

This is the poor sap speaking that she has been talking to for the past half-hour. Anne Lauten has (happily for me) been logged in, and cannot finish this letter. I will post it for her.
