He told me the price and my heart stunned still.
Did this guy really want 257m?
I asked him to repeat himself, just to make sure.
Honestly I thought he was just being immature.

506 thousand magic logs that would require.
Luckily the green hat won’t go any higher.
I told him no thank you and regained control.
Walking away, a green phat as a new goal.

257m that guy must be insane.
I went to dance for money, wanting to entertain.
Yes I was one of those people, I’m not proud of it!
For 30 minutes of my life, I was a lazy git.

I didn’t get anything probably ‘cus I was a man.
Everything went to the girl with the deep voice, named ‘Ann’
I danced for money, I felt like a disease.
I traveled to Seers, to my trusty magic trees.

I was bored at magics, so I stopped chopping.
With some spare cash I went back shopping.
I bought some dragon boots and also a whip.
This time it’s not leaving my grip.

I think it’s time for me to go God wars.
I brought my hammer, ready for the doors.
Spending a few minutes I gathered 40 kill count.
I looked at my supplies and had a good amount.

I turned on my melee prayer and walked through the door.
With full Guthan’s and a whip I fought General Gradoor.
During the hour I was hoping for a Bandos chest plate.
Getting some tassets would also be great.

Even though I’m the hero, I didn’t get what I needed.
So with the hour up, my day proceeded.
You know what I did next, go ahead and tease.
You guessed it. Back to magic trees.

Haha thank you, I've skipped alot out, Gazzy is re-comping soon so I've done alot more than this :P can't write everything though it would be 500 pages.
Thank you once again for the kind words.
2 more parts after this one.

Hope you're well.
Have a great day.

Clue scrolls, these clue scrolls
They're piling up high
Anagrams and Puzzles
They reach to the sky
And all that I want in the world, you see
Is a quick, easy way
To make lots of money

When I close my eyes
I see Boxes
And I move the pieces in my mind
And even if my body is elsewhere
The treasures, I know I must find!

So I'm grinding and grinding forever
Twenty-five boxes piled high
All I want is to make some quick money
None will be richer than I!

With all this woodcutting I got my first 99.
From then on my stats hit an incline.
I did a few quests, one was herding sheep.
Though I’ll skip the details, you’ll fall asleep.

Finishing a few tasks in the Al Karid sands.
I went to travel the elf lands.
I checked the map and found the Underground Pass.
Though inside I hit an impasse.

I knew what I needed do, my heart was torn.
I needed push this boulder into this caged unicorn.
I did it quickly out of respect for the beast.
Knowing what I did my stomach still creased.

I continued onward with a shiver in my spine.
Escaping the pass a crystal city did shine.
Priffidinas, the most beautiful city I’ve seen.
I needed get in there, nothing will intervene.

Long story short, I did what I set out to do.
And just like that my love for Gielinor grew.
There were so many people in the center of this city.
Atop the waterfall, it all looked so pretty.

There’s so much more to write but this is getting long.
I think I need stop writing and say ‘so long.’
There’s so much more I learned on my journey.
I can write 20 parts just being dry on Bernie.

As this diary is coming to a stop.
I want to thank you for reading from the top.
I’ve never done something like this before.
But I wanted share my time in Gielinor.

With so much more to say, I’ll be sad to say goodbye.
In the next and final part, I’ll be telling you why.

Another player has entered! Welcome, Demither. Fantastic stuff and hope to see more!

And thank you Misty. Glad it's made you laugh! I had 3 goals when writing this. 1. Tell a good story. 2. Hit nostalgic beats. 3. Try make it funny. So I'm glad I've hit one of those goals :D !

Have a great day.

I started my journey when I was just 14.
I was addicted after catching my first sardine.
11 years later I’m now 25.
I thank that 14 year old boy for taking that dive.

You see Runescape is more than just a game.
Without it my life wouldn’t be the same.
It’s a wonderful place to be, no matter your mood.
You can just relax with that cup of tea you just brewed.

I’ve laughed and cried in so many voice chats.
Talking to friends whilst training my stats.
Gielinor was there for me when I needed an escape.
I finally did get that 120 Woodcutting cape.

I was engaged to a girl, who I met in Gielinor.
I flew to Canada and knocked on her door.
I’ve traveled the world, meeting people from in game.
And Jagex is the one who’s at blame.

Thank you to all the friends I’ve met along the way.
Even the ones who led me astray.
Never enough to love but to many to say.
Even the ones I met on my ironman by the way.

I met some amazing people, it all started with ‘hi’
Some are my best friends. That I won’t deny.
Though this story is over. I’m far from done.
As this adventure has only just begun.

Thank you for reading. Now my tale is told.
I started off looking for treasures and gold.
The true meaning of journey is now revealed.
Even long after my fate is sealed.

I’m looking forward to the future and learning so much more.
So I want to thank you Jagex, for the world of Gielinor.
Please don’t stop with this wonderful place you’re shaping.
Thank you for the journey, and of course happy ‘Scaping.

And that is it. The end.
What a fun little journey huh? And yes Bernie the firemaking pet, it's one of the rarest and a lot of players go mega dry on getting him, so I thought I'd throw the rarity of the pet as a joke in here.

I'm so glad I found this forum, it pushed me to finish this thing, as well as your kind words, Misty. So I want to thank you for that.

Though i'm sad it's over I'm glad also, because I was forced to in a certain direction. Telling a story that doesn't jump everywhere.

But now, if I want to randomly want to write about a certain boss fight, or a quest, or a Bossing trip with a friend, I now can without the fear of jumping around in the story. I'm now free in a sense to write something without breaking the flow of the story. And that's exciting.

I know I said it in the diary but thank you Misty for reading. though I know it's a small thing but it meant a lot that you enjoyed it. And to any of you in the future who've read it thank you also!

Though it's the end, I'll still write a 'lil but when inspiration strikes.

Fun fact btw, when Jagex did the competition for the Menaphose library this was the start of it. I submitted part 1 to them, hoping to have it in game titled 'The Land of Gielinor'. That's the whole reason this thing exists, I wanted a rhyming diary of this adventure crossing Gielinor. Ofc they didn't email me back progressing through the competition, though I still kept on writing it. and now we're here.

And when I said after our conversation in game you said something that I knew I wanted end on? If you don't remember or didn't catch it the very last line. Happy 'Scaping, you said when you went of and I needed to end it with that :)

Rambling. I'm going stop. Thank you for reading and very much glad you enjoyed.
Looking forward to seeing you in game.
Happy 'Scaping

Awww goodness Gazzy

Its not the end just the beginning, of a new chapter in your adventures in our beloved Gielinor

I have taken great delight in reading your wonderful, heart felt, funny, entertaining poem.

I have read most of it to my mother also, I have page 3 of this forum to read to her still, she loved it very much and looks forward to hearing the rest.

I sincerely hope that Jagex will take the time to read this artistry that you have created, I think they would be very pleased indeed :)

Looking forward to your new *bossing* poems ^_^

lol I'm immortalized in your poem with my
"Happy Scaping"

I feel honored.

See you in Gielinor sometime
