"Alright," Taena said, taking charge, "I'll take the feet, and you two each grab a arm. I know the way to the cave, so I'll go first and you'd better watch and make sure that no branches snap back into your faces, OK? Let's go!"
They all pulled together, lifting up the corpse, and began to head slowly over towards the cave, Teegan and Sukrae both holding a hand up to fend off any attack branches.
Their progress was slow, with many pauses to regrip, and it was a good while before the trio came in sight of the cave.
"There it is," Taena gasped, twiching her head towards the little cave because both her hands were full.
When they reached it, Teegan gave a sigh of relief, let go of the arm, and promptly fell over, while Sukrae leaned against the wall. Both of them were amost white and Teegan was trembling. Sukrae helped her up and propped her up against the wall, much like himself. Taena just stood there, breathing hard.
"Well," Taena said after about ten minutes had elapsed, "we only have one more thing to do."
Sukrae looked up weakly from the wall. "Yeah," he said, "I'll help you, Teegan's not well enough right now." He lurched away from the wall, determination in his eyes, and took hold of Keppon's feet. Taena picked up the corpse's hands, and lifted it into the cave. Sukrae pushed on the feet and the whole body slid neatly into the opening.
"Not very dignified is it?" Sukrae frowned, "maybe we should do something else?" And he staggered off to a nearby bush, and began to pick flowers.
Meanwhile, Taena had found a long, thin slab of rock that, if propped up with its base on the ground, was tall and wide enough to fully cover the opening. She was busy chipping at the slab.
