"Thank you," mumbled Teegan, gulping down the water.

"No problem," replied her twin, smiling at how fast her sister was recovering.

"Where's Sukrae?" Teegan asked, a note of concern creeping into her voice.

Taena sighed. "He's over there, he'll be fine soon."

Teegan gasped, her eyes on the unmoving body of her companion. "He'll be alright soon?! How hurt is he?!" A sigh broke the silence, and a voice very like Taena's was heard to mutter "lovebirds" under its breath.

"Sukrae will be ok," Taena told her sister, "you're wounded, lie down."

"No," Teegan said, firmly, "I'm going to stay up and make sure that he's ok."

"Fine," Taena said, exasperated. "Let's move everybody outside, there's a stream." And with that, she picked up Sukrae and pulled him out of the shelter and onto the grassy bank at the edge of the stream.

"You're going to hurt him, pulling like that," Teegan complained, having managed to crawl out after Taena.

"I didn't do anything to him, he's fine!" snapped Taena, who was starting to wish that her sister had stayed asleep.

"Who's fine?" asked a weak voice from the ground, interrupting the argument.

"Are you ok?" Teegan asked.

"Do I look like I'm ok?" Sukrae said, jokingly. "But no, I actully feel a lot better. And what happened, Taena? How did I end up here?"

"Do you remember that jar of stuff pouring on your arm?" Taena asked him.

"Yes I do, I suppose I passed out or something?"

"Yes you did, then I carried you and Teegan out of the tunnel, and to where we are now."

Sukrae made a rather lame attempt to sit up, and sank back down, wincing. "Not to be rude or anything, Taena, but where ARE we now?" he asked.

"We are in the wilderness," anounced Taena. "The tunnel we came out of is just over there, and I made a shelter." (she had decided not to tell them about how close they had come to dying).

"Oh dear, what if somebody comes?" Teegan asked worriedly.

"Nobody will, and it they do, then we can hide in the tunnel," replied Taena.

"Alright," Teegan said, crawling over to where Sukrae lay, and looking meaningfully at her sister.

Taena got the message. "Um, I'll go... get some firewood." she said, walking slowly back to the shelter. "Lovebirds," she muttered, shaking her head.

No I don't want to kill any of the main people at the minute, ane they are the only ones in the picture right now. However there will be a bit more blood and gore in a while.

Don't get TOO exited about blood and gore...

Go into real battle for once, and you'll see why. The men screaming and dyign around you, and the horror of seeing a few women fighting along side you, but dying by the second.

There's also the blood of battle; it comes in rivers, and you can't do anything about it. I've seen several men go mad with the pressures of battle, because it can kill a man simply just being in it, and not being shot.

But there is a thrill to it. When you fire a gun and a man falls, you silently cheer for your bloodthirst satisfaction, and you want more. You have to have more. There's no way you'd live without killing another! Then another! Pretty soon, the battle's over.

After the battle, you silently brood on the enents of what just happened. The adrenaline's gone, your sanity's returned. Slowly, the horror and sickness of what you just did creeps into your mind, poisoning it.

You just killed so many men! How could anyone live with this?! It makes you more insane by the minute. The bloodlust is gone, and you hate it. You hate yourself, you hate the men who you killed, you have eveyone. You jsut want to be left alone in your corner to cope with what you have jsut done, and be left alone.

That's why you shouln't be too exited about it -.-
