"Thank you," mumbled Teegan, gulping down the water.
"No problem," replied her twin, smiling at how fast her sister was recovering.
"Where's Sukrae?" Teegan asked, a note of concern creeping into her voice.
Taena sighed. "He's over there, he'll be fine soon."
Teegan gasped, her eyes on the unmoving body of her companion. "He'll be alright soon?! How hurt is he?!" A sigh broke the silence, and a voice very like Taena's was heard to mutter "lovebirds" under its breath.
"Sukrae will be ok," Taena told her sister, "you're wounded, lie down."
"No," Teegan said, firmly, "I'm going to stay up and make sure that he's ok."
"Fine," Taena said, exasperated. "Let's move everybody outside, there's a stream." And with that, she picked up Sukrae and pulled him out of the shelter and onto the grassy bank at the edge of the stream.
"You're going to hurt him, pulling like that," Teegan complained, having managed to crawl out after Taena.
"I didn't do anything to him, he's fine!" snapped Taena, who was starting to wish that her sister had stayed asleep.
"Who's fine?" asked a weak voice from the ground, interrupting the argument.
