No, I'm 100% sure there was no world map. Maybe I started playing even earlier than I thought...
Anyways, I didn't get much of a chance to play today, as I was working most of the day. But I did get a chance to finish a quest I had been eyeing for a while. Perils of Ice Mountain. I've had a few moments where I had wished that I could make pickaxes, but I was just too lazy to do the quest. But I'm in a bit of a questy mood today. Questy? Is that a word?
I won't spoil the plot, but I will say that it was a quick quest with very easy required items.
While I was doing this quest, I realized just how bad the graphics are for the dwarves. They're probably just as bad as the gnomes were a few months ago. I hope Jagex updates these little "Short angry people" soon. I think they did an absolutely awesome job with Trollheim. I can't even express how much I love that update. Before it was just a mass of grey mounds, but now it actually looks like a mountain!
Another cool update was the Lumbridge Swamp. Honestly, I don't think they really changed as much as they did with Trollheim, but it still looks cool.
And then the new trees by Falador. Now these trees are cool. Probably my favourite part is the leaves. They look so good! But I also like how they look much bigger than the old trees, and that the canopy of the trees overlap with the surrounding ones, giving a good image of a forest. There's only one thing wrong with these new trees. I really find it a lot harder to click them. I find you need to click the trunk of the tree instead of the branches or leaves, which makes it a lot harder to click. But I still love them (Not as much as the new Trollheim), and I hope Jagex updates so that ALL the trees look this way. I wonder what a magic tree would look like? I bet it would look pretty cool.
Oh, you know what else needs a graphical update? Giants. Moss Giants, Hill Giants, Fire Giants. Ice Giants are okay, but they could still use a makeover.

Well today I decided to do a few quests. I started off with Eagles' Peak, then went on to do Gunnar's Ground. Then I did Hazeel Cult, then Monk's Friend. They were all pretty short and easy, so it wasn't that bad.
After that, I was going to do the quest "Murder Mystery", when all of a sudden my "questy" mood went away...
So I looked at my cash pile and thought "I really need some money for that Bandos Chestplate". So I've decided to start killing some Living Rock Creatures for some money.
I've wanted a Bandos Chestplate since they came out, but I was free-to-play then, and WAY to poor to even think about buying one. Well now that I have fullfilled some of my other item goals, it's time to start saving for that ultimate goal.
Well as I went into the Living Rock Caverns, I realized I had forgotten to bring food! So I ran all the way back to the Falador bank, grabbed some Monkfish, and then ran all the way back to the Living Rock Caverns. I spotted a victim and quickly killed the behemoth. That's when I realized that I forgot to bring a pickaxe to mine the Living Minerals. So I ran all the way back to Falador again, got my pickaxe (rune ftw), and ran back to the Living Rock Caverns again. Of course, the one I had just killed was already gone, so I started anew.
It is so laggy in World 84... Probably from all the bots down there. It made me a little scared of lag death to be honest.
I got low on food so I left, but not after getting around 200k worth of loot. I then went searching through the forums as per usual, when I came across a player needing some help with Dungeoneering.
His name is Bruinbow, and he needs help with obtaining a Utuku Longbow. The problem is, is that he is free-to-play. So if anyone reading this wants to help him obtain one, please please PM him! He would be very grateful! (Edit: He actually just got a Spinebeam Longbow, so he won't need any assistance.)

So after that, I went to the Crystal Chest in Taverly. I had like 5 Crystal Keys in my bank, so I decided to use them. I got around 300k loot in total.
I then went to the Clan Camp South of Falador for the first time. I grabbed a vexillum and planted it at the door of the bank in Varrock.
I went to the Wilderness Agility Course and was there for not too long when I went afk. I know, I know, afk in the Wilderness? I know, bad idea. Some failed PKer who wanted to feeel good came along and killed me just to get my inventory of monkfish.
So then I was a little stumped on what to do. I decided to go for 70 Hunter, as I am only one level away. I wanted to hunt Red Chinchompas, but every world I went to there was at least three other people. So after that frustration, I asked my plan what was good Hunter experience. They told me to hunt Red Salamanders. So I went there and there was a player already hunting them. Except he didn't have any traps at all. He was just standing there. So I began to set up my traps, and after a while, he said,
"Wtf, Where did my ropes go?". We had a bit of a conversation, then he
teleported away.
A while later, another player came along and tried to steal my spots, but I managed to fend him off. And then even after that, Magical Zing PMed
me. If you've been following this blog, you may have seen his comment.
We had a nice conversation, and I learned a lot about him. Then I got
level 70 Hunter!
I went to Lumbridge and randomly decided to do some Fishing. I kind of want level 70 so that I can fish Monkfish comfortably. So off I went to Shilo Village. I fished there for a while, and nothing of real importance happened. Boring fishing as usual; I don't expect more.
Good night! :)

Today I started off with some Fishing at Shilo Village. Right away, the player "DragFullHelm" PMed me to tell me that he enjoyed my blog. Thanks! We had a little chat, but then I had to leave for in real life events.
A while later, I logged back on and decided to go and do the Easter Event. I won't explain how to do it or any of the plot, but I quite enjoyed it. The rewards were a little lame, but the only thing I really wanted was the new emote. I think the event took me around 15 minutes to complete (both sides). After getting the emote, I went back to Shilo Village and continued Fishing. I eventually got level 66 Fishing!
I think I might voice my opinion about the Death Interface now. I was thinking about this while I was fishing. I think it is a great idea that all items' values are now based on Grand Exchange Prices. It was pretty silly when you would save a lump of coal over a Blue Partyhat. So I like that. But the part I don't like is that now you get to choose what items you keep. I liked it more when the player had to keep in mind that the items that are kept are set, and that they couldn't change it. Why? Because now some items, say Armour or Rares, will almost never be lost upon death. I know, I know, it wouldn't have mattered anyways because of the Grand Exchange Price update, but still. I don't like it.
Oh, and by the way, I forgot to mention that yesterday, while killing the Living Rock Creatures, I got 74 Strength!
Well, I continued to fish, and I probably will until 70. Then I'm not sure. It's dark out, and it's time to log off.
Good night! :)

I logged on today and continued with my Fishing. I fished for a while, and eventually got 67 Fishing! While I was fishing, I was trying to think of ways to make money. So I think I might try out Farming Toadflax.
While I'm fishing, I'm usually either playing another game, on Youtube, or on these very Forums. I was on the Forums today. I was in the Dungeoneering Help Forums, when I came across a player who needed a Gravecreeper Shortbow and 150 Promethium Arrows P++. I posted that I couldn't make the arrows, but I'd be more than happy to make the bow, free of charge. He didn't respond, so I continued to fish.
Right after I got 67 Fishing, I teleported to Varrock to buy some Super Compost for another one of my fail get-rich-quick-schemes. But the instant I teleported there, a player named "1amsoweak" PMed me. He had read my reply to the other player on the Forums, and he wanted a Gravecreeper Shortbow. So we met at Daemonheim, and he offered me some money. I declined, but then he said that he wanted to give me a tip. Don't think I'm greedy: I've wanted a Bandos Chestplate for a long, long time. So I accepted the money of 500k We entered the dungeon.
There was one problem though. This was his first raid, and so the Smuggler didn't have anything in stock. Further more, you couldn't fletch or cut wood. So we finished the first floor, and we went on to Complexity 2. I then realized what we had to do. We had to complete 6 floors to get full access to the store. And that's exactly what we did. Finally, when we got to the point where the Gravecreeper log was in the store, the cash collection began.
It took a while, and by the end, we only barely had enough. But we did it! I thanked him, he thanked me, and we went our separate ways. Another happy player
Well I talked to my clan about what I should have for Farming. Apparently, I should have Magic Secateurs. Well I haven't done that quest (Fairy Tale Part 1). So off to quest I go!

I started the quest with no hitches, and was quickly progressing. Quite an easy quest. I was about halfway through when a real-life event came up. Nothing spectacular, I assure you. Anyways, at this event, I found myself a computer and loaded up Runescape. Don't worry, I was the only one there... I was babysitting, so it's not like I was sitting in an internet cafe or something.
So I progressed up until the boss fight, and then I stopped. Was this really smart? The computer I was on was really laggy, and took a longtime to load content. I certainly did not want to go against a level 111 monster and die from a lag. So I decided to stop the quest there. I'll finish it tomorrow.
So long for today!
Good night!

Today I finished off Fairy Tale P1: Growing Rains. Tanglefoot wasn't that hard to kill, so I probably could have killed him on that other computer. The reward from the quest included around 3000xp for Farming, so I got 41 Farming!
Well having completed the quest and obtained the Magic Secateurs, I finally got to go and start planting some Toadflax! I first went to Ardougne and went to the Farming patch there. I realized I didn't have a rake with the leprachaun, so I ran all the way back to my bank and grabbed some money. I went back and bought a rake and seed dibber. That's when I realized I had forgotten my Supercompost. I ran to the bank for the second time, got the compost, and ran back to the patch. I planted my Toadflax. Then I wondered if it was possible to deposit noted supercompost to the leprachaun. So I ran all the way back to the bank for a third time, deposited all my compost, withdrew it again in noted form, and again went to the patch... And you can't do it.
So for the fourth time, I ran back to the bank, deposited my compost, withdrew 28 in regular form, ran to the farming patch and deposited them in the leprachaun. That took about 15 minutes!
I went to all the other patches I have available: Falador, Catherby, Morytania. This is the first time I've ever done this, so I'm hoping I get a nice yield.
After the Farming fiasco, I went back to Shilo Village and did some relaxing Fishing. I won't be able to check my herbs until tomorrow, so I'm hoping everything will be okay.
Until next time (tomorrow),
See you guys!
PS, I finally got Assai to read my blog!

Today, I logged on and was about to go on my very first Farming Run when Assai PMed me. He wanted me to watch him fight again. Well I kind of wanted to get my herbs, but then again, I wanted to watch Assai destroy some people. So I decided to watch Assai. I deposited everything, and went to Edgeville.
I followed him around, trying to find a worthy opponent. The first player he fought didn't look too bad; he had a Dragon Scimitar. Assai was beginning to win, but then the opponent brought out the Saradomin Sword. Remember, Assai only has 45 Defence, so the Saradomin Sword was cutting through him like butter. Assai fled, and I followed.
We headed further north, when all of a sudden a PKer with Dragon Claws jumped out of nowhere and attacked Assai, just like the time before! Luckily, Assai survived, and the two of us laughed at the guy as he ran away. I hate PJers... So cowardly. Anyways, another PKer with Dragon Claws attacked Assai directly after the first, and Assai survived that one too.
Finally, we found another opponent. It was quite a fight. Assai turned on his Vengeance, as did the other player. They were both hitting constantly, and Assai was beginning to win.I was doing my part in the battle too; I was spamming the Cheer Emote
The opponent's health was wavering, but Assai wasn't looking to good either. But then the opponent brought out his Dragon Claws. Assai quickly switched to his Korasi, meaning to strike him with a Special Attack. But Assai was too late, the opponent struck with his Special Attack twice, but Assai escaped with a tele-tab just in the nick of time. Later, he told me he had 20hp left. Lucky!
I ran south, back to Edgeville. Some random player with an Armadyl Godsword started attacking me. I'm not really sure why, considering I was wearing nothing, and was carrying nothing of value. Maybe he just wanted to feel powerful. Anyways, he didn't kill me, and I successfully got to Edgeville.

I then went on my Farming run. I had four places to go, so I started with Catherby. I got six Toadflax from that patch. I then teleported to Morytania, and got another six from that patch. I noticed I had some onions in the crops patch in Morytania from God knows when, so I picked those and ate them, healing the lost Lifepoints taken by the Armadyl Godsword PKer.
I teleported to Falador and checked on that patch. Unfortunately, those herbs had died. I replaced the dead herbs with some fresh seeds, and teleported to the final patch: Ardougne. There, I managed to harvest nine Toadflax! So in total, my profit from this herb run was about 87k Not to bad! I also got my second strange rock from Farming, so I headed to Varrock, and traded them in for 1699 Farming experience. I got 42 Farming!
After all that, I went back to Shilo Village, and continued my Fishing. A little while after I got 68 Fishing, Lion0f Judah PMed me. We talked for a while about all sorts of stuff. Then I realized that he was in the Shilo Village bank the whole time, and I never noticed him!
I fished some more, and went on another Farming Run. I wish I had discovered the magic of Farming sooner. This is great cash! I finished that, and planted more Toadflax.
I headed back to Shilo Village and once again fished. I was just about level 69 when the player "Deathshot AJ" PMed me. He was free-to-play, and he wanted help with the quest "Dragon Slayer". He couldn't find the last map piece, so I switched to his world, met up with him, and we both headed off to the Secret Entrance in the Dwarven Mines.
He was very happy, and told me that I was one of the nicest people on Runescape he had met. That felt... Well it felt very nice. After I was done, I headed off to you-know-where and once again tried to get 70 Fishing. Eventually, I grinded out 69 Fishing!
A clan mate then wanted me to clean some Toadflax for him. I teleported to Falador, cleaned them for him, and went back to the jungle.

Sorry for the really long blog entry today, but a lot happened
So I was fishing away, when a player came up to me and said "Hi". I replied with a friendly "Hello!", and asked him what his Fishing level was. That's when I heard the distinctive 99 Fireworks. I immediately began congratulating him, and the both of us began to spam the Dance Emote. It was so random, it was kind of funny. He then ran off to get his well-deserved Fishing Cape.
I turned back to the river and started Fishing again. Level 70 Fishing wasn't too far now, and I wasn't about to let it slip away.
I went on my final Farming Run for today, headed back to Shilo Village and was done for the day.
Good night!
