Undershadow gripped his ancient staff tighter, and prepared to let loose more spells on the unsuspecting public.
Suddenly, though, a figure in a dark robe appeared before him. Undershadow instantly recognized him as the ever illusive Leader of the Golden Blades.
"Sir?"
The Leader, whose name Undershadow was as of yet unaware of, glanced briefly over his shoulder, then back at Undershadow. "It's over."
"What? I barely got anyone yet..."
"Scyne has informed me that several Virtue Co. employees and Mods are already on your trail, and some are even suspecting us, not the Black Hierarchy."
"How? We've been so careful..."
"Now is not the time. Drink this."
The Leader handed Undershadow a light blue vial. Undershadow quickly drank it, and instantly felt his glitched stats diminish, and his former identity return.
"Undershadow, you did what you were told, and for that I am grateful. However, you may have singlehandedly brougt down this clan. I have much to tend to, lay low in the meantime and wait for further instructions."

1 Hour Later...

Jay, Matt, and John sat in the White City Park.
"Garigamos Jr... and the note from earlier today..." John said, in deep thought.
Jay scratched his head. "And Matt couldn't ban him, because he didn't exist."
Timmins remained silent.
John sighed. "It seems too obvious, doesn't it? Why would Black Hierarchy open themselves up to so much?"
Jay nodded. "Yeah. Wait, are there any recorded cases of player's being able to change names temporarily?"
John motioned above his head, and his name changed from John <Virtue Co. Employee> to: Nhoj <eeyolpme oC. eutriV>, then back again.
Jay looked up at his own name: Jay <Investigative Moderator>. Then it hit him, "Wait, is it terribly hard to do that, if you were a hacker?"
John shrugged. "A lot easier for an employee, but I suppose a devoted hacker could do it."
Then, the nights events suddenly became clear.

As the sun finally disappeared in the Runescape world, everything was starting to fall into place for the two Investigative Mods and the Virtue Co. Employee.

"We couldn't ban them," Jay began, "maybe because they changed their name, and the official name wasn't on record?"
Timmins looked up and finally spoke. "I suppose that could've happened."
John couldn't contain a smile, and seemed almost too happy for the occasion. "Yes, that must be it! Jay, you have a new assignment: infiltrate the Golden Blades, work your way up the ranks, find out the name of the Leader, and take him down, take him down hard."
Jay looked confused. "How did you tie the Golden Blades to all of this?"
"Easy. They are the the Black Hierarchy's biggest, and only rival. You two said you saw two Golden Blades talking before the Black Dragon incident, not to mention the recording Timmins showed me. I'd say we have quite enough evidence."
With that, John logged off, leaving no room for protest from Jay or Timmins.
Timmins sighed. "I'll help you if I can, but I best be going for now."
Jay nodded. "All right, me too. I'll see you tomorrow."
Then, they too logged off.

Scyne opened the door to the White City abandoned mansion, located just behind the entrance to the mine. He turned once, to make sure no one was looking, then proceeded to step through and close the door behind him. It was pitch dark, and the room smelled of cold, wet stone.
Scyne took from his robe's pocket a small, black candle. He then carefully released a minor fire spell on it, lighting its flame.
The room lit with a gloomy feeling, still only allowing for minimal sight.
To his left, Scyne could now make out the silhouette of a wooden and marble stair case, slowly decaying with time and lack of use. However, it looked as if tonight, it would be seeing plenty of visitors.

Scyne made his way over to the stairs, and slowly made hi ascent, ignoring the creaks and and groans from the decayed wood. As he reached the top of the stairs, it was still pitch black.
He turned off the stairs, turned to the right, then was met with a sudden, blinding light. The room lit up instantly and intensely in a devilish fire.
On the other side of the room, Scyne could see a figure in a bright, white robe, hooded to hide face. His name didn't appear, and at first he renamed silent.
Scyne initiated the conversation in a shaky voice, trying to ignore the engulfing glames. "Have you... found it?"
The man didn't look up, and looked rather bored. "I have found it."
Scyne waited a moment, then asked, "Can I have it?"
"Now, Scyne. It can't possibly be that easy? Can it?"
Scyne snapped back, "But you said... All I had to do was..."
The man in the white hood shook his head. "You didn't succeed, did you?"
Scyne took a look of anger. "I did what you told me to. I worked my way up and learned his name. I worked for him, and found the last piece to YOUR puzzle."
The man in the white hood shook his head again. "My puzzle is only half complete. You found the knowledge I required, and I do indeed have all of the 'pieces.' But what good is a puzzle if you can't put it together? Catch my meaning?"
Scyne's brow furrowed. "I'm not sure I do. If you have the program, why can't you just open it?"
The man sighed. "It is not that simple, Scyne. It is locked, and requires a pass word. A pass word I don't have."
"Is that my fault? Just give it to me and I'll deal with it from there."
"No. The deal is, that I open it first, and get any copies of it that I want, then you get the original. Understand me?"
Scyne looked at him angrily. "How do you suppose I find this pass word?"
The man in the white hood smiled.
