Moments later, the dragon landed a few yards outside the northen White City gates, and let out a thunderous, deep roar. Matt watched it carefully, timing the cycles between green flashes. He noticed about a five second gap between them. He waited till he thought he had timed it perfecty, saw one final green flash pass, then yelled, "NOW!"
With that, every player let forth the full force of their attacks: special dragon dagger attacks, great axes, whips, maces, arrows, and spells hit the dragon all at once.
Jay watched as the Dragon'* hitpoints diminished rapidly- this would truly be record time for the killing of a King Black Dragon if the assault was successful.
A few seconds had passed now, and two of the dragon's heads were off. The dragon was down to less than ten hit points, Timmins was sure his plan had been successful, then...
Another green flash. The dragon restored itself completely. Then, to return some of the damage it had taken, it launched a poison cloud, a rain of ice, and a huge fire ball all at once. Everybody was knocke to the ground, some dead, most just completely baffled.
Jay and Matt had been knocked over. They regained their balance right as the next wave of the dragon's attacks were launched, finishing off most of the surviving players. Only Jeht and two others were still alive, the rest of the corpses disappeared, most likely respawning in Lumbridge.
As the Dragon reared up for one final attack to finish off the rest of the players, it was suddenly consumed in a beam of what appeared to be concentrated white light. When the light cleared, the dragon was no longer to be seen, in its place was the Virtue Co. representative and contact of the Mod's: John.
He looked at the battlefield, and few surviving players, then his gazed reached the two mods whom had been sent to Varrock. Then, his eyes moved to what the King Black Dragon had dropped. He moved over to read it: "Free Garigamos."
