After I finish this one, I may revise and repost the originals( during the downtime between this and part 5).

Atery was basically a stand-out character in the original three, and was a 'good guy' through to the end. He was thought to have quit, along with Zert and the others.

Posting more now:

Jay continued to look at Atery in awe. "sure... what do you need?"
Atery let out an uneasy sigh. "Let me start from the beginning:

Six years ago, Zert and myself took it upon ourselves to round up the last bit of Infection remaining in Runescape. We found the last pieces of it, then showed them to a friend of ours named 007ki. She believed she could delete it permanently, getting it out of the game forever. She failed. The best she could do with this infection was put a pass word on it, and lock it away. But, regardless, it would always be in the game- ready to be discovered by any player who unwittingly unearthed its hiding spot. They would need the Pass Word, however. Unforunately for us, our conversation was overheard, and we believed, at the time, that some players might have knowledge of the pass word. So, as Zert left the game, 007ki and I created two separate clans: The Golden Blades, and the Black Hierarchy. Then, we purposefully orchestrated an intense rivarly between them. Next, I was given the Infection's Program, and he was given a new pass word. Do you both follow me so far?"
Undershadow nodded.
Jay looked skeptical. "The infection was never destroyed?"
Atery nodded, and continued. "Indeed, and we figured it would be best if no one man could posess knowledge of both the pass word and the location of the program, for it would be far too tempting. So, over the years, 007ki and I allowed the rivalry between our clans to grow even more, ensuring the safety of the program and pass word. Originally, only he and I knew of the secret. But, I believe he quit as well. He is rumored to have passed on the pass word to her second in command, a man who's name I never learned.
As such, I was planning my retirement soon here as well. So, I passed on the location of the program to someone I thought I could trust.
Undershadow turned. "Who?"
"Scyne."

Jay asked, "So, the location of a deadly program is in the hands of a player named Scyne?"
Atery shook his head. "It doesn't stop there. Shortly after I told him the location, he quit the clan. And, I fear he may've removed the program from its resting spot."
Jay couldn't believe his ears- he was uncovering a far greater problem than his original mission. "What would you have us do?"
"Above all, I need you two to trust me, and do as I say."
Jay was still uneasy. "Look, my superior, a Virtue Co. employee wants you banned. What am I supposed to tell him? And, is there something specific I must do?"
Atery considered the options. "Tell your employer that you are now a Rank 1 Golden Blade, but you must be Rank 5 to learn my name. That will buy you more time. And, yes, I do need you to do something very specific."
Undershadow allowed his name to appear above his head, there seemed to be no more time for secrets. "What do you need me to do for you, Atery?"
"I need the two of you to go check on the resting place of the program, and either confirm it was stolen, or retrieve it for me if it is there. If it is there, it needs to be rehidden, but I'll deal with that."
Jay actually quite interested now. "I...I'll do it."
Undershadow nodded. "I'm coming too."
Atery smiled. "Thank you both, so much. I fear it won't be easy, however. I would go myself if I thought I was strong enough to handle it. However, it may take some beyond godly powers," he motioned to Jay, "to defeat its guardians."
"Where is it?" Undershadow asked.
"Level 60 wilderness, in the Tomb of Zamorak."
"There is no level 60 wilderness..." Jay stated.
"Not to normal players, anyways." Atery grinned.

1 Hour Later

Matt Timmins stood alone in the White City park. It was relatively peaceful, and quiet, save for the now approaching footsteps. It was Jeht.
Jeht walked right up to Timmins. "My items back, please?"
Timmins shook his head. "I want information on Black Hierarchy first."
Jeht shrugged. "What's there to say. We're....Erm, they're a hacker's clan. They are rumored to have knowledge of something Virtue Co. wants, thus Virtue **. Hunts after them."
Timmins sighed. "That's all you know?"
Jeht nodded slowly.
"Not good enough, I think I'll go ahead and destroy your items."
Jeht stood his ground. "That's all I know."
Timmins waited a few more seconds, then sighed. "Here." He threw Jeht's items on the ground in front of him, then teleported away.
Jeht retrieved his items and grinned. He was already working on a plan to bring Matt Timmins down.

Jay and Undershadow walked through the deadlands that was the wilderness. They had nearly reached the gate the spanned the whole level 40 wilderness. They had barely spoken a word since they entered the wilderness, keeping an eye out for PKers or unusual activity.
Undershadow finally broke the silence. "Why did you agree to come? It doesn't fit the Mod description."
Jay shrugged. "I don't fit that description. I joined more for the powers than the role involved. I just like having fun, and this sounds like quite the adventure."
Undershadow grinned. "Hey, sorry for some of the trouble yesterday."
Jay stopped momentarily. "Trouble? You mean the random PKer and King Black Dragon?"
Undershadow nodded. "let's just say I was involved. But, I was acting under Scyne's orders."
Jay nodded. "Forget about it, it was fun for me."
The two continued walking, and finally reached the gate. They passed through, knowing they were close.

Silently, a figure in a black cloak watched the two, waiting for his chance to strike.
