Later that night....

Undershadow was nervously cutting away at Magic Trees outside of the Legend's Guild when he received the next message. It appeared to be from Scyne:

"Undershadow,

The dragon was partially a success. It caused quite the ruckus, caused several Mods to get involved, and left behind its note. However, we're not sure at this time how effective the note was. Our sources on the other side tell us that Virtue Co. is still heavily intent on examining and evaluating our clan, and is still not very interested in Black Hierarchy. We believe we have a way to change that. Meet me at the Varrock Library in ten minutes.

-Scyne"

Undershadow sighed as he finished reading it. Hadn't he done enough for one day?
He continued to debate with himself whether or not he actually wanted to continue his initiation process, and told himself that he wasn't going to show up. Regardless, he still found himself withdrawing Varrock Teleport Runes from his bank minuts later.


Matt Timmins stared blankly at the garden behind the Varrock Castle. He had been assigned to examine the crime scene more thoroughly. John claimed to be disecting the origins of the King Black Dragon's date, and Jay had been sent to question witnesses of the event.
He continued to examine the garden, then let his eyes move up along the stone wall. Further up, moss was hanging off the second story stain-glass window. Nothing at all seemed out of the normal here.
He looked again at the grass.
Matt thought to himself, 'this is where the meeting was supposed to take place...'
Then, a revelation hit. 'Wait, what if this is where we were supposed to think the meeting would take place...the dragon was first seen in the plaza!'
With that, Timmins dashed around the corner and out to the market plaza.
Small crowds were starting to reform, but not enough to get rid of evidence. That was when Timmins saw it-a cracked glass vial next to the fountain.

Wow...

I came to the story forum 9 months ago, and even then you were a legend. The same old story..

"Have you ever heard of Zenma? He was here a while ago and wrote these AMAZING STORIES called the X-void series but then he became modded and stopped writing. No one knows what ever happened to him..."

Well now we do, I guess. ^_^

Scyne tapped his foot nervously in the Varrock Library. He had positioned himslef purposely on the far side of the library, away from the NPC: Reldo. He was paranoid, but smart. Though the NPC could do nothing by itself, it was vaguely possible that the NPCs were set to record conversations- thus he made sure to keep quiet and far away.
Suddenly, he heard footsteps. A figure in a black robe and hood entered the room: on his chest was the Golden Blade symbol.
Scyne let the figure approach him. "Undershadow?"
The figure shook his head. "No, Scyne."
Scyne instantly recognized the gruff voice. "My leader, what do you need?"
"To warn you, Scyne. The Mods are still all over in this area. It might be best to take operations to another city."
"But, sir, do we not want this case publicized? Besides, every city on this side of the white mountain is under examination."
The Leader ****** his head thoughtfully. "You seem more intent than I in making this a well documented case."
"Is our goal not to make sure Black Hierarchy is blamed by the masses?"
The Leader nodded slowly. "Indeed. I'll leave it up to you then, Scyne. Just, make sure no one is recognized. I'm sure you're familiar with the plan?"
Scyne nodded.
Then, more footsteps. The Leader turned, and instantly recognized Undershadow. He looked back at Scyne once more, then teleported out.

Undershadow approached Scyne. "What am I to do?"
Scyne grinned. "We're going PKing, in person this time."
Undershadow sighed.


Jay listened again to the recordings of the witnesses' accounts. None of them had much knowledge of what happened. Most agreed that the Dragon first appeared in the plaza, and that it had instantly killed most everybody. But, besides that, they didn't seem to have any information that they didn't already have. Then, Jay got a new message from John:

"Varrock Plaza- NOW"

Undershadow had a dragon long in each hand, and felt abnormally strong. Scyne had glitched his stats, given him glitched weapons and Dragon Armor, and temporarily changed his name from Undershadow to: "Garigamos Jr."
As he understodd it, Scyne had imbedded in these glitched weapons an option to attack other players anywhere in the game.
As deeply against the rules as this was, and as immoral as it seemed, Undershadow had a feeling it was going to be fun.

Chapter 2: The Master Plan


Undershadow, going under the name Garigamos Jr, approached two low level players making a trade. Undershadow grinned and drew his two swords.
The first player, in mithril armor, was complaining, "Dude, come on. Your addy helmet for 6k is a good deal!"
The second player, in steel armor with an adamantite helm replied, "6k? Get a life. 10k and I might sell it."
Undershadow decided to settle their dispute for them- he stabbed them both at once.
His swords sunk deeply through their armor, and instantly killed them both. The two players' corpses fell to the ground, leaving behind a fair share of items. Undershadow looked at the loot pile- nothing worth picking up even if that was why he was here.
As he turned toward his primary target, the bank, he heard a firm voice calling to him. "Stop right there, scum."

Matt Timmins could not believe his eyes. A player named Garigamos Jr had just assassinated two players out of no where. He had never seen anything like it- save for the rampaging dragon earlier in the day.
"I don't know who you think you are, but I'm going to give you once chance to drop your weapons and explain yourself before I ban you."
Timmins glared into the man's cold, dark eyes. "Well?"
Then, Garigamos Jr did something that further suprised Matt: he raised his weapons in an offensive stance.
Timmins sighed and opened his Mod Interface, and clicked Ban User.
Something was wrong, though- an error message appeared: "User Does Not Exist, And Cannot Be Banned."

Undershadow charged at the Mod, and swung his left sword toward Timmin's waist. Timmins reacted quickly, however, and swung a Great Axe downward, making direct contact with Undershadow's longsword. The sheer force of the axe clamped the longsoword to the ground.
Undershadow jabbed with his other longsword, aiming straight at Timmin's heart.

Timmin's sacrificed his control over the second longsword, and raised the Great Axe in order to deflect the second swing. Undershadow anticipated this, however and stopped the swing of his right sword, and arced his newly freed sword in the direction of Matt'* legs.
It hit perfectly, and threw Timmins to the ground. However, an unforseen problem saved Timmins from another blow: several mid-level players had assembled behind the two combatants and were now moving in to save Matt.
Undershadow wheeled about, and threw the sword in his left hand in true javelin form at the approaching group.
The group of about five all easily avoided the sword, and now charged Undershadow in a straight-forward sprint.
Undershadow paniced- he had not prepared for this. These players were going to mess up everything!
The players were now within feet of Undershadow- the first one swung with an Abyssal Whip, lashing out at Undershadow's face...
Yet, the whip suddenly unequipped from the player. The player gasped. "What the? It says I can't attack him!"
Then, in unison, the other player's weapons were unequipped.
Undershadow realized what had happened-just because he and the mod were fighting, didn't enable the combat option to normal players. Perfect.
Thinking clearly now, Undershadow equipped an Ancient Staff in his left hand. He grinned at the five players, and released an ice barrage spell. The players were instantly encased in blocks of ice, taking tons of damage all the while. As he prepared to launch another spell, he felt a sharp crack on the back of his Dragon Chainmail armor. He wheeled about, swinging the Longsword in his right hand at the unseen attacker. It was Timmins, jumped back to avoid the longsword.
Timmins appeared to have ditched his Great Axe for a Dragon Scimitar and Dragon Squareshield.
Undershadow grinned. "First things first." He then quickly summoned roots to hold Timmins in place.

Timmins shouted, "No! Don't!"
Undershadow, disregarding Timmins, turned about and launched another ice barrage at the mid-level players, killing them all.
Undershadow turned back again to Matt. "Having fun yet?"
Timmins opened his Mod Interface again, and manually removed the Root spell from himself. He then restored his hitpoints, and attempted the ban button again- recieving the same error message.

Timmins sighed uneasily, this fight was far from over. Then, suddenly, Garigamos Jr. teleported away.
Matt stared in disbelief. "No... I.. I couldn't stop him."
Then, another figure teleported into view- Jay.

Jay looked around uneasily in the steadily darkening evening. "What happened?" He then noticed the piles of player items on the ground, and could guess the answer to his question.
"Someone named Garigamos Jr. just started killing people here. I tried to stop him, tried to ban him... but, it wouldn't let me."
Jay surveyed the area once more. "Well.... uh... where is he?"
"I don't know, he teleported away."
Jay opened his Mod Interface. "Ok then, we'll just 'Teleport to User'."
The dialog box asked for the username of the player he wished to locate, and Jay put in Garigamos Jr.
After a few seconds of waiting, an error message appeared: Search Attempt Failed, User Name does not exist.
Jay was speechless.
Timmins sighed. "Yeah, I had the same problem when I tried to ban him. Something is seriously wrong here."
Jay asked, "What are we supposed to do then? We can't top this guy if we can't find him..."
Timmins shrugged. "I already put out a system message, as soon as this guy starts killing again, we'll be alerted and can try to cut him off."
Jay shook his head in disbelief. "This is incredible. First the dragon, now this?"

At that very moment, Undershadow materialized in Ardougne. He grinned wickedly at the crowds in the marketplace.
