Kitty, you asked me to read this remarking that you'd edited the story to make it more realistic. I'm not sure that the Wise Old Man is as upright as you paint him, though (yes, I'm assuming the protagonist of your story was Dionysius). I don't remember the cutscenes in Love Story very well, but he seems quite cheerful about his bank robbery (and he did try to storm the Wizards' Tower as well). You may say that he might have been deeply troubled by the prospect before the actual deed, but he does not display any compunction or indeed any sobriety during the "surveillance recording" of his robbery.

Regardless of that, however, I like the story. Applause for your strong conveyance of emotions.

Interesting psychological take. Though to be honest, I don't think we really learn too much more that he didn't already tell us in the game.

And if he had any real regrets over his illegal activities, he sure has kept them to himself. Of course, he does give us his Motive Rant to tell us why he did it.
