~-~ Tomb of Guthix ~-~

~ Prologue ~

The previous book began with Zamorak's rule, having been in place for little more than a year. Theios and his wife Nessa, two of his resurrectors, now ruled the land of Kandarin. Gerrick, the other adventurer to play part in bringing about the return of Zamorak, ruled the kingdom of Misthalin. Zamorak himself was placed in the middle, ruling Asgarnia.

To summarize the second book, Saine and Logaen, brothers and slaves in Falador, escape to a White Knight hideout near Port Sarim. Thought to be spies, they are locked away. The hideout is ravaged by Zamorakians, and almost everyone is killed. Here Logaen discovers his favor with Saradomin as his prayers are repeatedly answered.

The brothers, along with the remaining knight, Bydor, set out to find the tomb of Saradomin. Along the way, they are captured. Saine escapes, while Bydor and Logaen are taken to Gerrick's castle. The two are interrogated, but refuse to speak. Logaen attacks Gerrick, then frees Bydor and they make their way out of the palace.

Meanwhile, Saine goes to Edgeville, stumbling into the head of all resistances against Zamorak. Here, he has found forces to combat Zamorak once Saradomin returns.

Bydor and Logaen head into the wilderness, where they believe the tomb of Saradomin is, and do indeed find the grave of Tobias Saradomin. They open the tomb and go inside. Bydor takes the staff, and Logaen resurrects Saradomin. They turn around to find Bydor has vanished with the staff.
