Overall, probably closer to 2. You can't level up except at the main hub area, and the movement system feels more like 2 than 1. However, something they did that I am incredibly thankful for is that when you're casting a sorcery you no longer take a step forward (which they added in 2 and I hated.

I'm not incredibly far in the game, so I can't give you too much in-depth.
Done in by the dubious doings of destiny.

I pre-ordered DS3 on Steam, after 90* was refunded on my MasterCard when I returned Super Smash Bros. for CameCube. I'm not very far, but the game is really cool, too bad my computer can't handle it, so I have constant frame rate issues, but everything on low/off helps a bit. But half the time I play in slow-motion, however, it kinda makes it cool. The game also tells me that

The game's sounds and scenery are superb, though I find it odd that big dragons hiss rather than roar; my cat growls deeper than the dragon. Curiously enough, when you die, you don't turn into a zombie, which kinda sucks, I preferred when you were a zombie killing other undead.

Another oddity, I can't parry the attacks of the undead, yet I can parry the attacks of a knight whose like nine feet tall? I love the zombie-tree things, too bad they don't attack you. There is also this shadowy serpent thing that gushes out some characters. The game has combat similar to DS1 and is more realistic than the previous titles.

Oh, and in ADW, I will post later tonight, to give Wasted just a last chance to post.
