Oh boy. If some random came up and asked to join the caravan straight up, I think most characters would outright refuse - moreso since Glenn never really stuck out to Gwen durring the fight. Maybe Glenn might remember (Glenn), but his life expectancy is currently in question.

I have just got back from a holy crusade to purge my house of flies.

It was a long and hard fought battle, but I am pleased to report that my house's population of flies has been reduced from one to zero. No casualties.

I don't even know how a fly got in here when it's still freezing outside. The ******** must be evolving.

In any event, I shall continue to remain vigilant, and I recommend you all do the same. Beneath the gold, the Bitter Steel.

Next thing you know, giant 5 foot flies will take over the Earth, leading to the humans forced migration to giant sky islands above the clouds (because flies can't fly in the stratosphere and air clearly isn't an issue). The humans would be equipping soldiers with innate floating abilities and technology so advanced it's indistinguishable from ESP or magic. Each soldier would be expected to kill endless waves of fly mooks until they eventually fall in battle - whereby all traces of their existence will be magically erased to everyone who isn't a soldier for some inexplicable reason.

Oh. And handheld staves, lances, daggers, katanas and gunswords will be the weapons of this future - because heavy ordinance or conventional weapons are clearly useless.
