Capt, I think that faction as you describe sounds fine; it seems comparable to the Holy See or crusader factions. It may be interesting for them to possibly get into issues with the Holy See and/or Templar Knights. And yes, you will have control over the Grand Inquisitor and the minor Inquisitors, as they belong to you. Note that the Grand Inquisitor seems to be a minor character, so it'd be useful to post a bio of him if you'd like him to have more power in the RP regarding other users.
Ah, and your second post goes into the Crusader States! Conflicts between your faction and the Templars are reasonable, but historically, the Crusader States have been around since the 1100s (the story partakes in 1600) and prior to that, there was only the desert peoples, Romans and Byzantines, but the Byzantines were driven out by the desert warriors, but the Romans kept a foothold. Since this is the timeline, you are free to implement your faction however you wish, but you may have to add your own backstory and history.
Annie, half-human half-elf is allowed, but major characters are meant to be demonic in some way. The RP offers three methods: one parent being a demon or cambion, the child born while already possessed, or the character becoming demonic in some way. Your character can be a half-elf half-demon/half-cambion.
OK Chaser! I'll see if I can throw-in some obstacles or something.
