In all seriousness two things happened yesterday. On good, one not so good.
First, I'll start off with the good news: I created a new race on ITV. Introducing the Flugians, Humanoid hermit crabs who only within 30 years of being uplifted by the humans, have caught up to the Ikrians, (kind of) (since they conned the Ikrians into giving them their technology)

The bad news: I got fired from AMC! >:{ Just your friendly neighborhood gay boy! =)

... Alright smartass, I'll (maybe) take a second look at my bio. :O

I'm fairly sure I want to explore a human character, but I'm not entirely sure if I want to explore the whole futuristic ace-pilot paraplegic angle. Especially since Lasky seems to want to fill this role, and the thread seems to be missing its resident Char Clone.

We have four races thus far:
Humans (we all know what those are) who were the shrewd diplomats of the former alliance, the ones who basically caused the war ( all though all the races except the Flugians are at fault).

You have The adorable Flugians, Fiercely loyal humanoid hermit crabs who see in the humans, who are at the point where humans of the 20th century are now, with their clunky fuel inefficient vehicles and brute force weapons. Who see, in humans, the saviors of their race. They are the race that has replaced the Ikrians in the Alliance, and the most cunning of the four current races, despite being primitive at first contact, 30 years ago, They are incredible learners, the philosophers of the Alliance. And very mistrusted by the Slorians.

You have the bulletproof Slorians who were the muscle of the former alliance, 500 years more advanced than the humans, but 5000 years behind them in civility. They are blunt, brutally honest, stubborn beyond belief, fiercely and barbarically violent, loyal and incredibly aggressive, brave, bold, and reckless in every sense.

Finally you have the Ikrians Humanoid Slugs who are 1000 years more advanced than the humans, 500 years more advanced than the Slorians, but slow walkers and runners. They are stubborn, reserved, slimy, foul-smelling, ugly, untrustworthy fascists who believe in expansion no matter the cost.
