Actually, when I suggested that we use different accounts to role-play and then guess who was who, I meant it. It could be somewhat of a fun, temporary, short-term role-play. Unfortunately, that means if I were to start it, I'd get noticed instantly. I was thinking that maybe short-term, contest-like role-plays could be more attractive than the longer ones due to lack of activity.

I have another account I have not logged-in for quite a long time, but I do recall doing so a while ago and it was, like, "You last logged in 300 days ago." or something like that. I suppose a "Guess Who?" role-play isn't gonna be a realistic activity.

Since discussion of a Christmas story contest didn't get very far, and it's already over, perhaps we ought to move away from role-play and focus on story making? If anyone's interested, I could host a story contest of some kind, which would last a month's duration, and after the end of the month, I announce winner(s) and entries.

Last J Mod contest, there was role-play implemented in the story contest, so I was thinking of doing an exhibition like that in a similar manner. It would be forming and submitting short stories, and the author whose entries get the most votes/points/scoring over the course of possibly a few to several phases of the contest, wins.

THIS. Is probably the single reason why there aren't more threads on this forum. Remember the good ol' days when everyone on this forum had a sister who kept posting things they couldn't?



Emo, what’s your opinion on the state of your galaxy 700 years from now? You’ve implied that the three ‘major races’ formed an alliance (which I'm guessing to be something similar to an Asari/Salarian-Krogan-Human council from Mass Effect) – and are now in disarray after Palpatines incarnate, an as of yet unknown giant space slug, decided that he (or she. Or whatever its logical equivalent is.) wanted to turn the republic alliance into The Empire 70 years ago.

I guess what I wanted to know was if the Ikrians hostile invasion was based off a need to destroy all Humans/Slorians, or if it were just some half-baked scheme at being evil oppressive overlords? Or perhaps in some weird twist, they could have been the sympathetic party here, with the Slorians and the Humans provoking hostilities (Cause, let’s face it, the Ikrians would have had it coming based on what you described).

I can pump out a bio (props on not adding an *appearance” section into the format btw – our characters all tend to look the same anyway. ;P), but unless I’m off the mark, I figure a galactic war might affect the lives of almost anyone who weren't living under a metaphorical rock, meaning it’d be nice to know who is fighting who and what they’re fighting for.

One time I went to Forum Help, but because my complain wasn't in the exact format, a mod hid my post without doing anything about it.

So what is going on, here Westinev, is that the Ikrians, the Humans, and the Slorians at that time were in a dispute as to who will get the colonization rights for Plutonius Beta Cluster( in another galaxy) The Slorians reproduce rapidly and have already overpopulated eight worlds in their empire, the colonization of 17 habitable worlds in the Plutonius Beta should solve that problem for a long time, The Ikrians, have already established colonies in the Plutonius Beta, despite the Humans and the Slorians telling them that they could not. The Humans of course are just being selfish and want to advance their own race further in the galaxy.

In my opinion, the colonization rights should have gone to the Slorians. They have more of a need for these worlds due to their rapid reproduction rate, but that is irrelevant. The tensions over this cluster drove the Ikrians into revolt against the Humans and the Slorians. With the Ikrians gaining the upper-hand.

700 years from now, the galaxy is in turmoil, pretty much everyone is going to get sucked into the war, but for now the war hasn't reached Venture Sigma. it will though, Galbora, the Pirate Queen actively shoots "Alliance Vessels" out of the sky. (she doesn't tolerate the law entering her domain)

Like I said, in my thread, you can make your own race. The Galaxy should have more than just three races. Just your friendly neighborhood gay boy! =)
