At the 12th ring of a church bell, you find yourself stranded on the roof of a high rise building. The setting itself doesn't remind you of anywhere you've ever been, and you sure as hell don't know how you got there. Oh. And it's snowing.
You go inside. You may find office equipment, a hospital, a stateroom filled with heaped plates of fat turkeys and 'tatoes and bottles of whatever you might tickle your fancy. Mistletoe lines the walls, not that it really matters since you're probably completely alone tonight. Not everything is all doom and gloom however - you may or may not spot a beautiful Christmas tree or two (is that real pine?!). If you're especially (un)lucky, you might even find a present with your name on it...
... ooh. It's a(n) [insert lethal contraband here]. How thoughtful.
With your appetite potentially sated, You might choose to explore a little. You might find a set of stairs, but alas, they're barricaded. You might find an elevator - even if it opens, the ground floor is out of service. Confused, you may find a door that potentially shouldn't be there. The door swings inward, a harsh hail hurtling into your face. Shielding your eyes, you think you can make out a rickety rope bridge leading to the next building.
Satisfied in the knowledge that nothing lay behind you, you stumble across the shaky bridge, weapon in hand, into the unknown.

Hmm. I'm considering writing another overly complicated thread (oh no... not again!). The thread I intend to write will be short, concise and possess a sort of "anyone can die" feel (Player Characters, I'm looking at you). To achieve this, I would encourage shorter more casual posts (1-2 paragraphs) to encourage faster posting - yes, one liners may even become acceptable again. The plot would largely be GM driven, with players hopefully sharing conspiracies behind the scenes like in the old days.
So, thoughts/questions/concerns? Should I go back to the drawing board?
In a nutshell. The basic idea was to run about a series of pretty Christmas vistas while avoiding being murdered by Santa Claws. I'm currently on the fence line about whether characters can earn their happy ending, or if death is the only option.
... If that sounds similar to a certain manga, I'm sure that's just coincidence *cough*

I'm glad to hear that things are improving for you, Blue Serval.
And Az*garath, I apologise for abandoning our conversationally abruptly a month ago, LOL.
Anyway yes, I'm back. Tomorrow I'll be posting on ITF, TKH, and I reckon I might join some other threads as well. What's hot and happening in the forums these days?

You're often one to go back to the drawing board, which is a shame because I've liked pretty much everything you've ever suggested on here that I've read. I think you shouldn't be dismayed by a lack of response to any large in-character post put on this thread for scrutiny, I don't think the age-old tradition of simply ignoring any introductions posted on here because you can't be bothered to read right now has been fully abandoned despite the slow down of the forums.
I'd be down for this roleplay, anyway. I think you should ask around more before you decide against anything, or just do what I do and post the roleplay up anyway and hope for the best! And we're in need of a Christmas roleplay, even if yours is, uh... Completely against the concept of Christmas, as far as I can tell.
