*blink* *blink* Well then, I suppose the RP will keep going.
As a suggestion Annie, it may be better to include extra wording, such as, "the sword hit her in the arm, but it only nicked her, causing just a flesh wound" because that exhibits a rather minor injury. Often, it really helps to just add a few extra words to avoid misunderstanding, and it only takes a few more seconds to do.
When dealing with injury, try to find a way or lucky moment of which an attack doesn't become dangerous. Other examples could be sailors tackling into an enemy before the enemy can kill/harm, others parrying/blocking attacks for your character, an enemy slipping/tripping, simply refusing not to worry about you, or agility or stealth, to be included for offense/defence.
If you're not sure about something, feel welcome to ask me anything, I've been studying history and historic martial arts since I was a kid, and I can help out on that.
Here's an easy way to find out. Type in, or copy-paste:
Battle of the nations 2013- Best fight action
into the YouTube search bar, search for it, and then click on the according video upload. Note the multiple opponents interacting and fighting together.
