I think The Night Angel Trilogy could be a good suggestion too. The main female lead could potentially offer some good character development ideas on some variations of Annie that I have seen.

... To be fair, I should have kept quiet and pirated the setting for a roleplay. Though, I believe Talesin (sp?) had a similar thread with a modern theme at one point.

I'd recommend going on the Amazon book store and reading Hard Times, penned by our very own Gunslinger Z!


Anyway, I think you guys should lay off of Annie for being enthusiastic about the hobby we all like to indulge in. The truth of the matter is that Annie hasn't changed, it's the rest of us that have gotten more and more inactive over time. You shouldn't discourage someone from wanting things to be as fast paced as they used to be, I imagine most of us would like to go back to that time if we could.
