I read it and it was a nice solo hero story but I feel like the pacing was too choppy. Though I do like how you showed that the hero can't save everyone.

Alright, so I need to work on pacing.

I may continue the story and add more chapters, but I also have another similar idea. Although instead of one solo hero it will be a trio of adventurers. Beneath the gold, the Bitter Steel.
