I am goimg to be moving Vampyro to Wattpad, Stay tuned. I've been tempted to move Vampyro several times. to be honest. I think this might be a blessing in disguise for it
This mean I will be feverishly saving every single post we made on it to a Word doc. This will take maybe a day or two at most if I work all day.
This is a sad day, but I remain hopeful that this is not the end of our community, but a migration to another site.
Edit: I've started the Vampyro Transfer Project. Here's what it's going to encompass.
- Transfering of most of Vampyro's content. Certain things just didn't serve a purpose from a literary perspective and added nothing, while also lengthenig the RP. This will shorten the story to the most important parts.
- All references to Haegar's attraction to old men will be removed.
- All grammar, rewording, and spelling will be corrected for every post that was made on the RP.
- All contradictory posts will be fixed (This will be the most daunting part)
- There will be no senpais in Vampyro. This is fantasy Lithuania, not fantasy Japan. In the case of Bushi culture it'a a small subculture in Sudovia that was merely tolerated for their contributions to Sudovia's military. All Anime references will be removed.
This effort will take months. Jagex, this is very annoying. What you guys did to the Forums, but this is also an opportunity.

I am currently on page 15 of Vampyro.
Half of the work is copy and pasting all the posts into a google doc. The other half is removing the junk that comes with the copy pasting, and the formatting, Copy pasting will take a week at most, if I do 20 pages per day, I can get it done in 6 days. Just your friendly neighborhood gay boy!

We spoke about it once, Annie, but I'm going to set up the Discord server for Vampyro. I don't know if you know how to work Discord, Azi but it's never too late to learn new things. The whole reason we had the conversation about Discord was for people to be able to reach out to me off the forums. Now that they are going away, it's more important than ever for people to be able to reach out to me after they shut down. I was leaning towards making one anyway. I didn't expect the decision would have to be made this soon
The rules of the discord will include that nobody has to show what they look like. Anonymity is important to some of you guys, I feel. So nobody will be allowed to have a profile pic of their face. Nobody has to video chat, in fact. I think this makes some of us nervous. We've spent decades not having to use fancy schmancy voice chat, why would we start now? Of course if you feel comfortable about voice chat, you can do so. I won't be using it though. Just your friendly neighborhood gay boy!
