My new RP is up, reused an old thread to save space. The new RP is barebones, tho, as I was unsure of things like perks or selection of abilities were necessary. Overall, a roleplay with lots of possibilities, mixing atompunk and some retrofuturistic themes amidst a continuation of WW2, which was an idea these forums never had thus far.

Reading that thread made me hit my head with a rolling pin. During the ensuing concussion, I had a divine revelation that this wasn't a historical replica of world war 2, but all of the 20th centuries political intrigue condensed into one near-apocalyptic war where every nation is at its strongest. Which makes for a confusing geopolitical landscape, though it certainly makes for an interesting hypothetical scenario...

... that being said, if northern Africa is just an abandoned husk, it's amazing iran hasn't tried to expand and launch another "Persian empire", like they try to do when given half a chance.

It's not like nobody has ever tried to start a ww2 thread. Back in the day, when we had forum rules, it was expressly stated that "recent" controversial topics like ww2 were a nono - so threads like yours were taken down by forum mods (back when they used to peruse our forum).

A small bit of criticism though - when people join roleplay threads, they generally have a general idea of what they want their character to be based on the intro and theme of the thread. You don't have to go overboard when presenting character ideas!

XD you thought it was a replica at first? XD that's very funny, looks like I'm quite bad at expressing the difference between fantasy and history!

All your points are very good, they make sense. I wanted to have more Middle Eastern themes (the vast majority of my European-workable images I didn't bother implementing as it would be too big) but I couldn't' find any useable Imgur images. The roleplay is mostly based on what I could find via Imgur, which I then merge together and try to come up with something that makes sense.

Ah, so that's the history behind it--I had no idea. If the thread ever gets canned, well, it'll get canned.

XD another good point. I think my problem is is that I want to help too much. Basically, I just 'oh, an Imgur image that fits the world...' *throws it in* Some of the original concept art is, however, very cool, so I could not help but share it.
I was also gonna go through more Injustice 2 galleries but then told myself to stop XD I was going overboard.

Glad you're feeling better, Annie. I read your post in Omega and it looks good. Since Annie and Nimi are separated, I'll post whenever able for Annie and hopefully they can regroup at around the same time later on. I'll also PM Atarashi about that, so he won't feel rushed.

I also updated the first post of Breakdown, slightly expanding the lore of the Middle East, India and Africa. Although they are not part of the actually RPing, still worth mentioning.

I feel 100% better. The second Dose of the Covid vaccine was rough. It felt like I got hit by a train and very nauseous. I prefer getting sick from the Covid vaccine. Then getting COVID itself.

I got the second dose of the shot as well, though I had no reactions to the shot other than a VERY sore arm the next day. I must be one of the lucky ones because I heard that getting sick from the second dose is common.

New posts for Vampyro are up. I've been finishing those posts up as well as doing laundry. I have one load done now and all hung up in my closet, and am waiting for the other one in the washing machine to stop so I can load it up into the dryer. =) Just your friendly neighborhood gay boy! =)
