Oh my, you both share quite the problems! Allergies and migraines are a horrible combo for sure. I don't suffer from much ailments so I'm quite grateful for that, but I feel bad for the suffering of others. On the bright side, we at least have each other no matter what ^.^

I'm doing pretty well! It's been a while since I've posted in this chat thread, but I've been around intermittently over the summer.

I suffer from migraines as well. They usually come after I've had an epileptic fit - whether I'm aware I've had one or not. I think the worst ones were the ones I suffered during pregnancy because I'm allergic to paracetamol, and my go-to painkiller is ibuprofen, which can be fatal for the baby and is a no-no.

God that was a bad time.

I appreciate the thought but if I'm honest I have NO idea what these lyrics could possibly relate to/symbolize of our previous experiences. Like, I tend to have a really bad memory, so I for sure don't remember 90% of my interactions even with the people here that I've been RPing with before the merger.

Curious to know your thoughts, I suppose!

The song symbolizes how the individual dreams, drifts into space, and witnesses a whole world, concluding the relationship between the moon and sun--symbols of life and death and rebirth in mythologies (generally). I recall that you have a plethora of health issues which made me feel bad. The lyrics allude to drifting out one’s bed, and considering your health issues, you probably spent lots of time in bed--I don’t even have half as much problems as you but I also spend lots of time in bed. The rebirth of the individual the lyrics allude to made me think of how your life is getting better, as if a poetic exploration of self-improvement.


I tend to have abstract thinking so maybe I make no sense XD but it’s how I feel. Users like Taleisin, Amnesty, Wolfpack, Ancient Drew, and a couple more I don’t recall I just didn’t feel anything >.< need more

Ah, fair! Part of my problem is that despite often ending up with migraines that cause muscle weakness to the point of collapse, I take on so much responsibility and such a heavy workload that I don't let myself exist in bed. Just last academic year, I had specifically told everyone not to let me run for officer in a club. When the dynamic shifted a month in and we had to hold special elections, I ran. And won. And then ended up filling as the de facto club president because our actual president was MIA.

Being a depressed Type A is hard because I feel like I don't want to do anything at all besides lay in bed but even giving myself a day off with no looming responsibilities or goals I feel like I'm wasting so much time that I could be spending cleaning, or grocery shopping, or X/Y/Z.
