Yeah, it's fun to write something purely for yourself, too! It's a good exercise. I write professionally, but it's easy to get burnt out on that.

I used to be Scribegoblin/Ndedkttymge/Yenklet around here. I arrived maybe a couple years before the merger, just in time to see the place fade away. Every now and then I come back with something. I just can't let the old Runescape lore fascination go. >~<

I think Hraldmir's concerns about Annie being on the ship are fair and in-character, but I also think it's better to avoid questioning other characters' backstories too aggressively, especially in ways that can come off as critical of the other players. That stuff shouldn't be handled in-character, anyways. I just want to make sure this is all in good fun and people aren't getting off on the wrong foot here.

I appreciate the offer, but I'm not quite so desperate as contorting time like that. Mostly just excited to get the thread off the ground. Too many threads die in prologue.

But yeah, no, most of us on that thread have known each other for nearing 10 years, if not more. While we don't always get along and can sometimes come across as a little aggressive to one another, we're all friends here. :)
