I posted in Into the Fire in Angel's previous restart of the role-play, but I don't think either Mechanical or Firstborn areas have been posted about yet.
Alpha Base has an environment I'm not sure how to work with. I tend to need more story and world-building to create purpose.
Now that I think about it, it's kinda like when I work on my novels, I need to have a thorough backstory about the world predating the main events taking place, then I need at least some more details for a sequel, otherwise I simply cannot work on any novel.
In other news, quite a lot of Conservatives are upset that the Aunt Jemima syrup company is retiring. Long story short, that company basically used a real-life, historical slave to promote the 'happy black slave' stereotype, when undoubtedly, almost all black slaves were definitely not happy back in the olden days. There's more details but I won't go into them. Odd that lots of people will take a history lesson from a logo on a syrup bottle rather than studying actual documentation--or at least articles >.<
