And by "this", I mean the actual, literal word "this". The first line of this post was in fact, meant to make you feel worse. I hope you can still enjoy the remainder of your day despite this shocking development.
Cower, worship, or beg. All are valid choices.
Hey Annie! Hope the world hasn't gotten you down after all this time. Legitimately happy to see you here!

Annie. For my post for you, I was thinking of having Zurga mention your father. What was your character's father's name? It seems wrong for me to just name your father for you.

Hmm... Vigil's magic system seems a bit complicated.
Let's see what we have here...
- A paladin class that has few justifiable ways to learn due to a mass extermination of the order 300 years prior. Might be a good class for those with an interest in history?
- An earthbending necromancer class that is unplayable.
- A lightning bender / animal shapeshifting class that invokes natures wrath. Only need apply, crusty old hermits should.
- A shadow bending class that requires one to commit a great sin. Probably intended for redeemers, antiheroes or villains?
- Relics that do very specific things, and are probably so valuable you'd have to be crazy to travel with one.
Because of all the intricacies, I get the feeling (as a player) it might be best to steer clear of magic for this one.

I wanted magic to be a commitment. Technically anyone can gain magical power, they just have to be willing to commit - whether through time and hard work or committing an unforgivable act.

I seem to remember this RP, George. If memory serves me right. I was already contemplating a character for it. Should be easy to recreate. I never forget a character I create, even two years into the future.

Each one is connected to the gods, so there's a reason they're specific. Of course having no magic at all is perfectly viable, and it's certainly possible to learn magic during the roleplay if minds change later on - or if certain people become available to teach them.
