My plan was to have vampire characters work for the main antagonist, exactly what Venom1383 did with my character in The Lost Kingdom; If you'd like to do that, you can.
Or, you can be with the resistance for the sole purpose of hunting the one who turned you. For convenience sake, I would set the one who turned you into a vampire as Lexius Gern. Balta Mirta's son, because it's something he'd do as a character. You'd see why in the RP.

She just wants to destroy everyone, but it'd work better if she's aligned against the vampires because she hates them a bit more than everyone else.

Cool, cool.
So would she be a lone wolf attacking both sides?

Depends. She's not exactly a bloodthirsty violence type of individual (500 years tends to reduce that part of her a bit) but she certainly won't be friendly to either side. It's more of a tempered hatred at this point, even though it's incredibly potent still.

So then occasionally, our goals might align.

If it's gonna kill vampires, chances are she's onboard. 500 years of not having the opportunity to do something means she'll take whatever chance she gets.
Things involving humans are a bit more...iffy.

Even so, even she might admit having someone to back her up might be beneficial. Even though she hates everyone.

Of course. There's a reason she hasn't just rebelled against the vampires in the last 500 years; she never had any allies to do so with.
